I was wondering where those 200 MS points came from. Apparently I have 220 more pending (plus 20 from the survey I just took). Pretty cool I think. Originally I thought this was like bing rewards which you earned points to spend on things (I kept searching for a rewards page, but never found it :P).

Once you have 100 or more points they will be deposited into your account, usually on the 15th of each month.

Made about 640 points so far. Not bad when you think about it.

So the program ends on the 30th? Kind of a bummer, I had only joined in April. I have about 60 pts from surveys, do you think they will be deposited automatically when it ends?

Even if it ends who's to say something like this but much better will take its place, this program is getting people to spend points as often as do things to gain them so in a way it's a win-win for Microsoft I don't see why it would discontinue it entirety.

Well the surveys did ask what you would like to see on the rewards program, makes sense to continue if they bothered asking for input.

It wouldbe fun if they gave you some points based on your achievements. Like so many points for every 1000/1000. I can see people going crazy for that :p

Fun but easily broken, I can see it showing up then taken away just as fast because of hacks and exploits. What I would like to see is rewards for buying games like a cash back system. Lets say for every game you buy new you get a code for 50-100 MS points this would drum up a few sales of new and it would make people more likely to buy the DLC for the game as well.

There seems to be more actions that are rewarded now with the system going live since the original tester a year ago.
