Who will wait out for the game reviews before they buy a game? I am just gonna chill out and play Halo 2 for awhile on the 360 until the reviews are up. I am kinda thinking If don't wait for the reviews i'm gonna buy a game that will flop.
The games I was planning on buying on launch day I am sure will be great. PGR3, CoD2, and Oblivion. I loved all of their prequels so the sequels should be just as good. So no I will not be waiting for the reviews.
When i pre-ordered the 360 at EB they gave me a coupon and it is a "Save $10 on your first game" so i will just use that coupon instead of wasting it i really dont care about the reviews

Well you can waste your money on dumb games that will flop. I will let you know that a gamespot reviews that i bought a game after didn't let me down since i've been doing it. And why are u the only person who said, you don't wait on a opinion. I rather not it be a opinion rather a facts. They don't tell us the levels in Halo 2 are too hard i don't like them, and give it a bad score. They based it on whats in the game and how it is.
I don't listen to any game sites reviews, i go by people's reviews instead cuz most of the time game site reviewers don't even know what their talking about. Perfect expample be : tom clancy's splinter cell 3, gamespot said so many negative things about it ,next day after that bought the game and thought it was the #1 best xbox game as to date but then again that's my opinion.
Yea I'm the only person that refuses to give in to the herd of zitty faced pre-pubescent teens who have no guts and cant think or make decisions for themselves awaiting bad reviews and basing their purchases on them.
I already nk what 2 expect from Madden 06 and i have neva played n e of da previous elder scrolls but im almost sure if i liked fable and gta ill most certanly like oblivion as long as i play it in 3rd person

I will probably get PDZ and Kameo and wait for reviews on the rest. They should have reviews up a couple of days to a week before release like they did for PSP launch.
Id like to know that the game im paying 60 dollars for will be good,but who can go out and buy a new system and not get a game for it.Ill probably get nba2k6,or live,maybe call of duty,and wait for reviews to come out for the rest.

You should definetly try Morrowind for the Xbox before buying oblivion. Its so much more indepth than fable.
but anyways ill buy Perfect Dark Zero and Oblivion at launch and wait for reviews on everything else...

Oblivion isn't anything like GTA and Fable so don't base your likes on it by that, it's really hard to play 3rd person aswell, no crosshair to pinpoint things, you'll make huge mistakes like stealing from a shop instead of talking to a man.
The Official 360 Magazine UK will have most the release games reviewed in November and December editions. So hopefully all release games will be reviewed before the 360 even hits shelves.
Note: November and December editions are out October and November respectively.

reviews come out b4 the game does since the company gets th game b4 its released
I'll probably buy the sure fire ones I like - like Madden and PDZ
Then wait on the reviews for possibles like Ghost Recon, NFS, Gears, Condemned....etc.... I just want some backing from gamespot 8.5 rating or higher - if I intend to spend atleast $60 bones on a game, right?
You guys really shouldn't depend on reviews, i have found some reviews to be complete bs and its the opinion onlyof a few individuals. You should rent the game you like and then maybe buy it if you really want the game.

yea i mite play halo 2 and a couple of other games until halo 3 comes out
ya i same thing i noticed a lot of the times there were a couple of games that just got a ok score and i sorta looked away from the game but then i played it and it was crazy good...like splinter cell 3...gamespot gave it like a 8.5 or something like that and i only like to but games that have a 8.9 and above score...but SC3 was really good and if i just went by what other people said i would have missed out

I use 3rd person when running around and 1st person in buildings, or places i need to pick something up or talk to someone, but running around in first person does seem faster...
