What's the number for Xbox support?

I know this should be in the sticky thread but it seems to have descended into petty fanboy fighting and I'm more likely to get an answer here.

I live in the UK and recieved the one ring of death, E-74. I've tried to ring the number on the Xbox support site but all I get is a robotic woman who is just reititerating what's on the website (which doesn't work). Is there a number I can call so I can actually speak to a human agent?
