My first game was Condemned: Criminal Origins which for some reason was released a week before teh 360 so I picked it up then. I had to put it away in my closet until the console came out as just by looking at it got me excited to play it but would of been real gutted if I didn't get one on launch but luckily I did :D
It was Kameo: Elements of Power. Though it's rather easy, it's quite fun, the graphics are beautiful, and it's underrated as a whole. I've played better games on the system, but it's worth a try. It's probably dirt cheap by now if you can find it. In fact, I think I'll start playing it again.
Gears of War, and what a game to bring me into the next generation, it's practically the definition of next-gen. Irememberthe first time I played it, I thought it was still a cutscene when it was actual game-play. I just kept spinning the camera round with the right stick because of the awesome blur-effect you get on the background.
