What good older game are you currently playing and why?

For me I am still currently playing GoW: 3 (I know not SUPER old, but with COD and BF:3 out, it isn't as active as it once was) and it still has a good community.

I am also playing Dungeon Defenders. I just got it and like the single player, but it would be a blast with multiplayer.

I'm playing just cause 1 alot now

On 360 I'm playing Tales of Vesperia because I just got it for christmas, very nice looking RPG, fun to play, the characters aren't annoying, good story.

I'm really getting into Mass Effect 2 right now. I'm likeing it more than the first time (and I liked it plenty then). Trying to do all side missions and learning how to use my team to best effect.

Got Tales of Vesperia, few hours into the game and honestly I thought I'd like it but it's just not my type.

Also trying to give Batman:AA a second try since I couldn't get past the tutorial when I first got it.

On 360 I am working on Fallout 3 GOTY, GTA IV, and Mass Effect 2. I am playing them because all I had was a Wii until last December, catching up. Jurassic85

I've just borrowed Dynasty Warriors 6 from a friend so i've been playing that lately. This is my first time ever playing a Dynasty Warriors game and i'm happy to say i'm enjoying it quite a bit.

Older titles I've been cycling through recently include most notably Homefront (just got it and it's excellent online), Medal ofHonor (this game was and still is good fun online) and Black Ops, if that's considered old.

Playing Obliv right now, wanted to play it properly before Skyrim.

Basically first hour : Wow!

Hour 1-5 : zzzz boring

Hour 5-20 : Should I stop forcing myself to play this?

Hours 20-100 : Oh wow I get it now, stop trying to do everything, take a ride thru the forest, only do what makes sense to you. No need for your warrior to join the mage guild, you can do that on another playthru. Don't go back 3 times to finish picking up loot. Only take the most valuable and move on. You don't have to close every oblivion gate you see.

Hours 100+ : So mellow, so perfect. I just noticed the music. Turn the difficulty down to %25 and charge into those 6 enemies. What a rush! Sleep during the day, because the game looks so much cooler at night. Riding thru the forest at midnight, not even bothering to use fast-travel, not following roads, not stopping to kill every enemy, just ride.

but as of now im just playing n64 games and ps1 games for good ol memories

In a few days, just bought shadow hearts covenant and a ps2. once those come in the mail i'll be playing that. then looking at xenosaga part 1-3. maybe shadows hearts 1.miss the good 'ol jrpg days.

As of right now, lost oddysey. I'm pretty much at wtf moment here. Grandchild and Grandparents? Wow.

oldest things i have on my xbox are halo reach, H:CEA and GOW3 (I know, not super old, but I'm only just restarting my collection, it's a long story that involves a family member moving out and taking all of the games + console with them even though we paid half each for the console and most of the games...)

bioshock 2 because it was only $9 brand new

Dead rising 2 because it was only $13 brand new.

So far they are both pretty good games nothing to mind blowing though.

Dungeon Keeper. 'Cause fienden förstör mina rum!

It's one of the best games ever made. I never get bored with it, been playing it since it came out basically.

Why, well... It's hard to explain the awesomeness that is Dungeon Keeper. It's nice being an evil overlord gradually taking over the world with what basically is slave labor.

Just finished Red Dead to clear my games queue for all the games I got on PC during the Steam Christmas sale.

:O. Needless to say, I regret not playing it earlier when I first got it. Amazing. It deserved GOTY.
