why arent there more ME1 and ME2's?
none of these mentioned are on a galactic scale the ME series is

A lot of people have been mentioning Fallout 3, but for me, a question to purify the water in post-apocolyptia isn't as epic as trying to stop demon's from overrunning the planet and destroying life as we know yet... but still, Fallout was an amazing game, just don't compare it to Oblivion.EssianSince I cant pick the game I want lol, I will say Fallout 3 as well. Its not the story of Fallout, at least not the main story. Its the indirect story of the world and the people in it: Finding notes that showed a guys fall into becoming a Feral Ghoul, hearing about the stories of Daring Dashwood, Argyle and Rockopolis only two find all three later. Every town had its own story, every trek through the wasteland leads somewhere new and of course the first time you step out of the vault is a spectacular moment. That's why its epic. ...........but ME2 is better lol.
Mass Effect 2 you cant exclude itKeredsBlazehahaha, it's just THAT epic. I am tempted to agree with you on that... the only thing that killed Mass Effect 2 for me a little bit was that the continuity was SO ENORMOUS from the first game, that it killed replayability a tad. It wasn't as enjoyable as intense as a standalone game, and if you played it first as a continuation from your previous title, then you are going to have a hard time replaying it without going through and playing ME1 again.... and ME1 seems like trash compared to ME2
got forget uncharted 2,killzone 2, demon souls infamous and VCgod of war 3
optiplex7
but for 360 i would say Batman AA or gears of war
I know most people are excluding BioWare games, but I personally liked Jade Empire. It was/is one of my favorite, most epic games.
I don't even think Bioware games were even that epic, they are great but I always felt that the epicness of like Mass Effect was too short lived, I never finished the first Mass Effect because it ended so quickly that I got so disapointed I restarted the game, that is how short live Mass Effects epicness was, short enough for me to have to restart the game right at the ending out of disapointment.
fallout 3 without a doubtStanley09
Fallout 3 was great and it had some epic parts but how is it the most epic game ever? I think it is one of the most addicting game ever, but the game lacks that sort of adreniline rush you get when you play game with more large scale epic scenes, like Halo, Halo 3 had some epic large scale battles, Gears of War had a ton of epic scenes, any game that gives you an adreniline rush.
It is kind of hard for me to name the most epic game I have ever played, MW2 was epic but its epicness was very empty and many parts didn't have enough explanation to make those epic scense make sense, Half-Life 2 was pretty epic, I liked Half-Life 2, I am going to go with Half-Life 2.
I really like the campaign in the first Battlefield Bad Company because it introduced me to the greatest Squad on the planet. I love those guys :)
I also really enjoyed Halo 3:ODST. I don't care what all the haters say."Firefly" CastVoice Overs = Epic Win!!
Firefly YUP! haha. Nathan Fillion ftw.on the 360 i'd have to go with either halo 3 which to me had a good way to wrap it up after a great start in halo 1 and a let down story wise in halo2, or assassin's creed 1 and 2...i'm really into the storyline of that series
I know its not a 360 game but the first Star Wars: KOTOR Was amazing. But I thought that Oblivion was an epic game with an epic battle to win it all!!jonzilla_basic
hahah oh wowww, i would have said the exact same thing....those are 2 of my favorite games of all time
Half Life series
When you play Half Life 2, then HL 2 episode 1 & 2 back-to-back you definitely are part of a epic game/experience
If only more shooters would pay attention to this game it' s the perfect shooter, great campaign, multiplayer (WITH LOCAL) a coop mode, a level editor, and challenges with a sleuth of unlockables attatched to them.Timesplitters future perfect & Timesplitters 2...good lord do i miss these games. D:
current gen RPG wise: Tales of Vesperia
archvile_78
I would have to go with Resident Evil 5, out of all the 360 games I have I had played it the most both solo and co-op. it was a good game on its own but sadly didn't do justice to the survival aspect of the rest of the games.
I would have to say. Mass effect 1 I think that it was better than me2 also ff13 is also greatEXCLUDING GAMES MADE BY BIOWARE! That means we are excluding Mass Effect 1+2 and Dragon Age. Sorry, but I just feel like this would be hands down winners. For me, excluding those games, it would have to be Gears of War 2. Such a great game.
Essian
Well Xbox only lets see,
Old gen since BioWare games are excluded and I can't say Jade Empire,I would say Timesplitters: Future Perfect. That game was great. I laughed, I didn't cry, and I even got startled once on one of the zombie levels. GTA San Andreas was great to, much better than liberty city.
Current Gen since I can't say Dragon Age, i'll have to go with Resident Evil 5 even though I want to say The Saboteur.
1. Bioshock 1
2. Batman Arkham Asylum
3. Uncharted 2 Amongest Thieves
4. Fallout 3
5. Heavy Rain
6. Halo 1
7. Metal Gear Solid 3 the Snake Eater
8. Psychonauts
9. Assassin's Creed 2
10. System Shock 2
360 title would be COD4 probably. I enjoyed the first Halo. In fact I have just bought a used copy to play again. :D
But I do have fond memories of Metal Gear Solid on the PS1.

duuuude vulcan raven took me soooo many tries to beat. granted i was eleven and had a hard time figuring out how to get him to follow me without running over my claymores myself. that and final fantasy 9 were probably my fav ps1 games i had.
recent games... lost odyssey's story is pretty great, and i liked the theme of bioshock a lot. (big ayn rand fan here)
I think Gears 2 is like the most epic single player out there....the single player is surprisingly deep and long....bioshock 1s single player was also pretty epic
wait, you are saying you don't play Tales of Vesperia single player? How does that work exactly?Call of Duty 4 is still my hands-down favorite. Ballad of Gay Tony was great as well, and so was Tales of Vesperia (I don't actually play this game single player, though). Also nice to see some Timesplitters love here, especially Future Perfect.
