what game do you dislike that everyone else thinks is awesome?

I have an undying hate for that game

If your talking about the first assassins creed then you should give it more time. It took me a while too, and I'll admit the beginning was soo dreadful...I was about to fall asleep and was on the verge of returning the game. I gave it time and the more assassinations you do the better the game gets...its really good.

But I don't like Mass Effect, batman AA nor COD since COD 4.

my game would be Fallout 3, my friends are constantly telling me to play it, but i have started it and given up 4 or 5 times now and just never been able to get into it at all, something about it i just find really boring and tedious

I never like any of the GTA games. I find them boreing.

MW2 and Fable II.

Not everyone but a good majority of people really liked Halo Wars and I couldn't stand the simplicity. GTA 4 is another one as people have mentioned. As well as RDR. It's a solid game but not a 9.5 and not the greatest game ever as everyone seems to think.

Agreed, it was solid but i felt they could have done so much more with it but thats just me.

All the Halo games. Never like them to begin with.

Fable 2 was a huge disappointment. That game had horrible features that just brought it down. I bought it for the co-op and that was the worst co-op I've ever played. GTA IV was one of those games where you couldn't wait until it was over because you hated everything about it. It started out pretty cool but then it just didn't blend well with all of the constant annoyances.

"-that everyone else thinks is awesome". Not everyone other than you thinks a game is awesome/otherwise. So unless you can truly find a game that 100% of the people that are not you think a game you don't like is awesome, this thread isn't possible to accomplish.

People need to stop using the word "everyone" when talking about liking/disliking games. It's bothersome.

Anywho...so yeah...since I kind of broke the thread...I'll continue by proving a few of the posters wrong in stating that everyone except them likes a game.

Games I didn't think that were awesome that people have posted in this thread up to this point; (thus making those posts void)

Well I liked the story so I wouldn't mind giving it another go. But if it's just my lonesome protagonist against disgusting creepy aliens, I would love to not have to watch my bloody ammo so much, so here's hoping for a more positive experience.

Halo, CoD, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age. IMHO, they suck.

This is a thread that you will not be able to quote somebody and then turn around and quote somebody else in a negative manner. Someone has said that they don't like Assassins Creed or Fable 2 and i was about to quote them saying me "me too.."But then you read somebody saying that Fallout 3 was boring, and i was about to say "No *** way!"...

I hated Borderlands with a passion. All my gamer-friends loved it. The art style, the gunplay, the loot system, the story, the characters, the environment... hated all of it. Also the only game I have traded in to Gamestop in about 4 years or so.

Lack of ammo is what makes it so great. It tries and add the "survival" back to survial horror. If that's what you didn't like, never play the old Resident Evil titles. Isaac was supposed to be scared, untrained, and overwhelmed by the enemy and they pulled it off perfectly. An aggressive Isaac (luckily) fits the story for Dead Space 2, but it wasn't at all a problem in the first.

Anyway, on topic, I really hate Fable 2.

GTA,MW2 and Assasins Creed are a few I can think of off the top of my head..

Fallout 3 very disappointing

Oblivion. A buddy of mine tried to get me into it. Played it for 6 hours or so, and just could not get into it at all.

GTA4, the city had a poor layout that I quit because I could not drive around that place anymore.

God of War, the main character is a borning Mr. Clean clone, the fights were easy, moving around is slow and the story is borning.

Can't think of one.

On 360, Braid might be the only one I can think of. Outside of that, I didn't like the game one of this site's most sacred cows of all (Shadow of the Colossus). That's pretty much it though. There's lots of stuff I didn't like quite as much as others, but I still liked them to at least some degree.

Modern Warfare 2...i though COD4 was great and black ops looks good....no COD title will ever beat what COD2 was back in the day though :P
