The longest Xbox 360 video games...

Let me just note that this isn't a game recommendation thread... I am just looking to see what people find the longestgames :).

For me it would be Gears Of War 2. Also, it's not epically long but Resident Evil 5.

Want a shocker? a VERY long game is... Fracture. It's actually TOO long, I started to actually want to play something else about 3/4 the way through Act 1 (there's 3 acts) I must be about nearly half way through Act 2 now. It's a good game don't get me wrong, but with HARDLY any cutscenes at all (I have experienced like 5 thus far and all have lasted about 5-10 seconds). I have been playing it for nearly a week now and I must have put about 8-10 hours in to it and it feels like I am only half way through the game... :P.

So what are yours? :)

GTA IV, Fallout 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Oblivion to name a few.

Well it matters if you are talking about the actual single player portion, or if you are including multiplayer and other suchaspects of the game. Generally, the longest single player games are in the RPG category.

Longest 360 game i played was ME2 or Oblivion .

offline= be oblivion i put 164 hours in one save

online= halo 2 i liternaly played it from the second week it was out till i bought my 360 when halo 3 came out

I would have to say Mass Effect for single player, and COD4 for multiplayer.

I logged over a hundred hours in Oblivion (friend of mine played over 300 hours), 53 hours in Dragon Age (haven't completed main story yet), and just over 26 hours in Mass Effect 1. Runner up is Red Dead Redemption which I invested around 22 hours before completing the main story.

Multiplayer-wise Gears 1+2 and L4D 1+2had the most longevity for me, though I eventually lost interest.

Not counting JRPGs, GTAIV, RDR, AC2, Dragon's Age, and Oblivion have clocked the most game time from me.

Lost Odyssey was a nice length but Oblivion is the longest singleplayer game. Multiplayer game just depends on you really I put 1,100 into Team Fortress 2.

For me personally I'd have to choose Darksiders. I don't know why, but that game feels incredibly long and simply dragged on.

Fallout 3. Finished getting all the achievements & max level at around 73 hours. I don't see how people can go back and make 3-4 100+ hour playthroughs. No idea how it's possible. I tried, got to 3 hours, and never looked back.

Halo 3 SP I replayed a lot

Fallout 3 I have like 75 hours

For MP

Counter strike source I must have atleast 40 days on that

Ha! Don't even mention WoW. I'd love to know how many days some people have put into that game. Must be astronomical. Although, I do have to admit I put in my fair share playing a PW on NWN over a 4+ year time period.

As far as 360 games go, I'd have to say Fallout 3 has taken the most of my time. Although I do vividly remember playing Dynasty Warrios 5: Empires for quite a while too.

Of course if we delve into MP, Halo 2 & 3 win by a landslide.

Star Ocean the Last Hope is insanely long if you try to get everything for all the achievments. My longest playthrough was 345 hours and I still did not get everything.

Fallout 3, Tales of Vesperia, and probably Mass Effect will last you at least 60+ hours if you spend the time to do a lot of stuff. I got almost 80 from Fallout 3 and ToV.

Oblivion has to be the longest Xbox game I`ve played. Ive loved all of it.

forza 3. i put 117 hours in to it and i havent reached 50%

The longest Xbox game I've played is Bad Company 2 (multiplayer) with more than 350 hours in total.

The next runner up would be Dragon Age with 70+ hours.

The Longest Ive played is ME/ME2, Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV and Oblivion. But I say ME2 i just completed the main story and it me a whole month and i havent even completed everything

For me it would have to be Oblivion (although i couldn't find the time to finish it, you can finish it right? :P), Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 2 just to name a few. And i'm surprised you actually liked Fracture, the game was ok for the first couple of levels than it became a chore to play. To each their own i guess.

dragon age: origins. took me 50 hours and i didnt even do all the sidequests!! longest game i've ever played
