Is my Call of Duty K/D ratio good or bad?

I don't prestige, I go for K/D and challenges. Having a neat badge isn't worth the work...

yeah id say the average K/D fot COD is in in the 1.00-1.50 range but dropping below that isnt good at all. If less than 1.00 you die more than you get kill which kinda makes you worthless sorry to say.

I think K/D is the most meaningful statistic in the game, since it is a measure of whether you helped your team win or lose. On a game to game basis, if your K/D is < 1, then you contributed to your team's loss. If you are < 1, and your team still manages to win, that means the other people on your team had to make up for your extra deaths. I'll bet most of us with K/D > 1, also have a win/loss ratio > 1.

K/D ratio is far too easy to raise in MW2. Play Ground War and just get a predator missile. There you go enjoy all of your killstreaks. I went from 2.19 to 2.61 within two weeks it was that easy. I am shocked that anyone can have anything under 1 unless they just run around all day not firing their gun.
