They got very close to showing his face in Halo 2, but no dice. Personally, I think it would be cool in Halo 3 if we didn't see his face entirely, but we were given some sort of teaser, maybe like a close up on his eyes or something.Sparda590

I think at the end of halo 3 after mc most likely saves the universe, it would be ubber rad to see him walk into a cut scene in a marine suit, like the one that sarge wheres in halo 2 in the beginging of the game on the Cairo. that be sweet...

Only mostly-dead, cuz if Master-Cheif dies then the books will end as well as the game and Hollywood will try to make a movie which will suck because of MC's death!!!

He should keep his helmet on through the game and then take it off during the ending cut seen right before the screen goes black and credits roll. That would be a true cinematic ending.

i was once at a book store (lookin' for a magazine) :) When i saw one that said something like "Masterchiefs face revealed"but i didn't get it because it was a crappy magazine :)

Hopefully he keeps the helmet on at all times, or atleast the camera angle should'ent show his face. Probably because M$ would make Master Chief a black dude and that would ruin my fantasy (dont ask :D)

according to the books, the spartans are extremely pale, so we would probably see a very white faced MC. The white face is definitely not from fear:) I would have to say, save the 'helmet coming off bit till' the end

The flaw is that it could either be a decoy or for some reason they made a grunt with a different face
