How many of you DID own the original Xbox before you got a 360?

I know a lot of people who didn't own an Xbox before they bought a 360; most owned PS2's but were put off by the price of the PS3 (hahaha) or wanted a newer console in 2006 and some owned Gamecube's

Just out of curiosity, who did own an original Xbox before they got a 360?

I bought an Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube all within a 2 week period. I got a PS2 because a friend was telling me how awesome GTA3 was. This was right when the first PS2 price cut happened which was like 18 months after release. The Xbox and Gamecube had a price cut immediately as well. So, I picked them up as well.

This generation, I bought all 3 consoles as soon as I could find one after release. Amazingly, the hardest console to get now, the Wii, I got on release day. I got my 360 6 weeks after release when I finally found one at Walmart. I got a PS3 about 3 weeks after release at Gamestop.

I owned an Xbox. I got it on Christmas Day, I was playing NFL2K and it was freezing on me. I was definitely hesitant on getting a 360, but Best Buys warranty makes me feel safer.

I owned all 3 systems at one point or another during the last generation. Got a wii and 360 this gen.

I was a PS2 guy. I decided to get the Xbox 360 for Mass Effect. Big fan of Bioware that I didn't want to wait for a PC version (Which most likely wouldn't have even work on my PC). Oh also, I wanted to get Conker: Live and Reloaded. :PComradeCrash

Great choice! I LOVE Conker: Live and Reloaded, but it's a shame my old Xbox dodn't have live. Still, 'Conker's Bad Fur Day' still rocked lol!

I've literally owned every console ever released in the U.S. - including the 3DO and Jaguar - and all the other unusual flops of their day. LOL

Dude - I know - that system was WAY ahead of it's time. And to think the primary reason Atari cited for failure was too high of a price point!!! LOL

I had the PS2 and Xbox systems but only for a short period of time. I go both of those systems late so by the time the new systems came out, I was already selling them.
