Halo 4... will it happen?

What do yo guys think? WIll there be a Halo 4? If so will it be on the 360? Will Master Chief be the main character? Write your thoughts below on Halo 4.

I really hope it doesn't. I don't mind seeing some spin-offs, such as what Wingnut is doing, but as far as Bungie making a 4th game, they pretty much said that after ODST they're done with Halo. Either way, IMO, the story arch is done, so just leave it at that.

Halo 3 was a triumph, and the story finished off nicely and I don't mind the games coming off it like Halo Wars. However, leave Halo well alone whilst it's still an amazing trilogy, don't stretch the series on and on and ruin the good work already done. There can be too much of a good thing.

I say leave Halo alone. I don't mind things like Halo 3: ODST(Halo: Recon), but don't try to continue a finished story. I say bring back Marathon for one or two games, then come out with a new franchise.

i really hope there is. But i doubt bungie will have a very large role in it.

They could make future Halo games, but I think Halo 3 is fine for this console gen. Right now, Bungie should just focus on making DLC packs for HALO 3 and continue making new gameplay modes and other fun stuff. And, they should push for getting Halo 2 on XBOX Originals, along with its add-on.

like come on number one selling game fights number one spot most played on xbox live every week, game owns, billion dollar indurstry just with halo. for being for the 360 well it's all up to microsoft it depends how much longer do microsoft plan to keep 360 live depending on that microsoft will decide to be 360 or 360-2 3 wtf halo without mastercheift get out of here my thoughts about halo 4 who ever making it better do some hard work and make the signle and online a master peice

It made not be called it - but Halo isn't over yet - it's making too much money to let it go.

Bungie might be messing with people saying that they don't have plans for another Halo... but it was obvious that (Spoilers!) at the end of Halo3, MC is about to land on another planet... so maybe it won't be called Halo anymore...

Marathon was bungies second FPS game and alot of the marathon universe is embeded in halo, the terminals the security armour, the 7th column, and as for the question. leave halo alone and let sleeping dogs lie. it had its run and spin off games will be made for years to come, the legacy of master cheif should be bulit around with a new protagonist like the helljumper, not built on with halo 4

It better not... otherwise Bungie would be ruining an awesome series. Halo 3 had a great ending, it would be wrong to do that.

I would rather see another FPS series continue like Perfect Dark rather than another Halo game(though I like Halo). With Halo 3, 2 spin offs and 1 rumored one, what more can you do with it?

Microsoft has been trying to ride around on Halo's coattails for about 8 years now, I think they need a new flagship title. Halo had it's run and I'll be the first to say that I loved it, but you can only stretch it so far.
