halo 3 looks like its barely upgraded

i agree the beat didn't impress me. but keep in mind it is a beta and certainly not the finished product.  there is still some polishing and changes they can do before the release

I was thinking the same thing man. It doesn't look all that much better than the first and second games. To tell the truth I'm not looking forward to it that much. I've never really been a Halo fan. But yeah, bring on UT3!! After what epic did with Gears I'm looking mighty forward to UT3.whizeguy

dont judge from an incredibly low res tiny window streamed off of a website while the game is still in alpha 

watch the 4th gameplay vid, in the bottom middle it says "public beta" and you can barely even make it out

i dont know if it will be the BEST, as its one of those games with big environments with dozens of people roaming everywhere blowing everything to s***, generally that type of game requires a slight graphical decrease, or at least a frame rate decrease like halo1.

i would guess at BEST it gets the same as halo2

You know gamespot may give it a 9.6 but with not a 9.6, they may give it a 9.7.

minor upgrades in what terms? in graphics or gameplay?

Graphics--> there's a a noticeable upgrade in the graphics. Not incredibly mind-blowing, but great textures and models. One things that I like is the new visors in the Spartans.

Gameplay--> well...how more can you change it? its a FPS. Sure, they can add more weapons and features but in the end, you'll get old-fashion, Halo FPS gameplay (which I love)

You need to see it in full HD to enjoy the quality of this game a 2Inch 180 x 350 image isn't going to look much different from Halo 2. Gears didn't look good to me at all until I saw it in action.jamesgj
