Several. But they almost always have to be of different genres, to help break things up. I can't juggle two RPGs at once, for example, unless they're vastly different. Usually I have an RPG, an action game or two, and a racing game going at any one time. IE, right now I'm juggling Scott Pilgrim, Forza 3, New Vegas, and Puzzle Quest 2.
I play one campaign @ a time, mixed in with a FPS multiplayer shooter, etc. I'm currently playing Resident Evil 5, Gran Turismo 5, FIFA all on the PS3. My 360 just bricked while playing Black Ops last week.
In the good old days, I would stay absolutely dedicated to one game until I beat every last little bit of it. But I've expanded that list to several games as I've grown older. I no longer have near the time to play games, so when I do, I want to make sure it is whatever I want to play at that moment. Even if a game is great, I just can't force myself to play a game if I'm thinking about another game anymore. So, currently I have Alan Wake, New Vegas, Borderlands, Forza 3, Black Ops, Reach, Gran Turismo 5, soon to start Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and as always, Trials HD that I'm playing. Damn...I need to focus! I will admit that all of this goes out the window when Dead Space 2 comes out. Everything else will be put on hold for that one!
I'm playing Assassin's Creed 2, Black Ops, Mass Effect 2 campaigns at the same time and Halo Reach online. And of course, I'm re-playing all the Halos with my girlfriend since she started to love to play games with Xbox 360 :)
i buy a game, get addicted to it, get sick of it eventually after finishing it, trade it in and start the cycle again! Quite sad if you think about it :-(
Well right now I'm juggling AC: Brotherhood, and Halo Reach online.
I usually play two games at a time. But sometimes, I might leave a game. I might shelf it. Then go back to it later on, and start a new file.
I started AC 2, two times. Because I wanted to remember the story, and I shelved it twice. I got it in June of this year, and just finished it in October. :lol:

Normally one single player game and multiple Online games at once. Right now I'm playing Assassin's Creed II story and Splinter Cell Conviction, Halo Reach and Team Fortress 2 multiplayer.
i usually play multiple games at the same time, i used to have a library of close to 30 games i ended up selling all of them :( right now i am down to two games, new vegas and fable 3... and since fable has corrupted my save afew times i am still trying to beat it again X(
right now i switch between mw2 multiplayer and mass effect 2: infiltrator class when i want some achievements and a good story line, i go for mass effect 2, when i wanna kick some bootie with my chopper gunner, i go for mw2 XBOX LIVE BIOTCHES! but i guess psn is kewl too
several. my back log is so long right now it is disgusting.

ya i need to not buy any new games for a while lol. though when i just went to gamespot they made me change from edge to power up which gives me a free buy 2 get 1 free coupon so what turned into darksiders used on sale from 40 to 17.99 has turned int 3 other games probably in the next month or two. i think after that i need not buy any new games as the backlog is insane. some i have i havent even put in the xbox for reasons i question daily. never mind the fact i have a wii and ps3 too that get neglected. so ya time to play catch up for the next 3 years....if only i would actually stick to that lol
It depends on the time of year, for example, during Christmas time, I'll get a few games and I'll play each a little at a time. But if it's summer, I'll probably only have 1 game and I'll play that one constantly.
I am all over the place with several games with multiple consoles and pc. I never finish games i start. I like them all, but i cant possibly play them all...it is a curse.
Usually 2 or 3 games at any given time with a side of some kind of Online multiplayer game(right now its Black ops). Right now Im on Dante's Inferno, Batman AA and Bioshock 2. Games like Fallout: NVor Mass effect2 though I try to to play those without switching to another game
Several. And that includes single-player campaigns and online, but mostly SP. I love it when a game comes together so well like Red Dead Redemption. It's the total package. GOTY!
