I'm a casual gamer, so I'm looking for a game that has something to keep coming back for such as:

-different things or paths to go or different ways to play the game
or
-addicting gameplay

I don't want the game to be too tough or easy though. If my friends ever come over to my house, I want them to be able to catch on easily on how to play, but not too fast. It can be sports, alternative sports, shooters, etc etc.

I already own:
Halo 2, Fable:TLC, Jade Empire

Do not name Halo or KOTOR because I already beat those games.

I probably forgot to mention this, but I already have Fable and I don't own a PS2. However, I'm buying a PS2 when PS3 is released.

Oddworld Strangers Wrath. It doesn't have a ton of replay value but it is a very fun game that isn't too hard. It was very addicting to me. PSI OPS is another good game and so is Riddick. These are three games that are on the cheap(inexpensive) side and very fun games. The replay value of all 3 of these games isn't the greatest but for about $35 you could own all 3 of these used and have lots of fun.

Star Wars: Knight of the old Republic......This game is great, especially if you like Star Wars. One thing is that it can take a while for you to complete, and when you have already beaten it, you can go through it again with several different approaches.....Happy Hunting.

For Splinter Cell,  can you play all of the single player levels with co-op, or are there seperate made levels?

For now I don't plan to. I'm going to wait until all three of the next gen consoles are out before I decide.

Far Cry Instincts has a few multiple pathways in the game, and it is very fun with just the right difficulty for your friends, too. Dont know if it has 4-player multiplayer, but it has 2-player.

How difficult is it to sneak up on someone? When I tried playing the PC version at my friend's house, everybody knew where I was no matter how stealthy I was.

The 3 GTAS will do you for a couple of years and ghost recon is a good replay game with firefights and defend modes.

It is very difficult to sneak up behind someone in Far Cry Instincts. In fact, I would say that game has very little stealth. But back to your main question, I would say Timesplitters 2 & 3 are very easy to pick up on for friends who are foreign to the gameplay and it is loaded with great replay value. (Challenges/Mapmaker) It is also not too easy because of the wide variety of guns (with alternate firing modes) and game scenarios.

Would you recommend Timesplitters 2 or 3?

How many levels are there and would you say that would be a fair amount compared to the amount of single player levels?

Do you slide around a lot in Rallisport Challenge 2 if you don't use the brakes enough like in Forza Motorsport or Gran Turismo?

Well, I played them all and I really liked Timesplitters 2 over the more recent one because I loved the guns, but if your just starting to play the Timesplitters series then Timesplitters: Future Perfect is the way to go.

Are there a lot of people online that are sore losers? For example, some people I've went against in tournaments ram other racers if people are about to pass them.

1. I’m assuming you’re asking about all game systems. The best games are: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 (PlayStation 2), Chrono Cross (PlayStation), Soul Caliber (Sega: Dreamcast), The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo: 64), and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 (Sega: Dreamcast and PlayStation). The best Xbox games are: Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, Burnout 3: Takedown, Ninja Gaiden: Black, and Ninja Gaiden.

5. There is a four-player versus mode in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory for the Mercenaries vs. Spies mode, but I don’t know if it is through split-screen mode, or not.

12. In Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, you can’t play every single level in the single-player campaign in cooperative mode. Only five levels, including a training level, are available to play in cooperative mode, but it’s much better than nothing.

20. Sorry, I don’t know how hard it is to sneak around Far Cry: Instincts, but it can’t be impossible. The game is almost all about stealth.

25. Timesplitters 2 and Timesplitters: Future Perfect are both good games. I have heard many times that they are great games. Timesplitters 2 got a score of 8.7 from GameSpot, and Timesplitters: Future Perfect got a score of 8.1. I would recommend getting the second game in the series first.

I would say five levels in the cooperative mode of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is pretty good, although it compares to the ten levels in single-player mode.

In Rallisport Challenge 2, when you use the brake to slide around corner, you won’t spin out too far.

28. I don’t know if the Xbox Live players with Forza Motorsport are losers, but I think they’re probably a lot better than the people playing Halo 2.

No. Wouldn't make much sense anyway as it is about stealth and if you see everyone's screen this is kinda pointless.

I know you probably have this by now, Halo and Halo 2. I'm not sure if you have XBL but if you do you and your friends can have endless fun on it. If you don't have XBL you can still play the really fun co-op mode.

For splinter cell co-op there is 4 missions without xbox live compared to about 10,11or12missions for single player.  It is fun yet you will play over and over again

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.  I played the s*** out of that game.  High replay value 'cause you get to keep your stats after you beat the game, once, then again and again...again.  It has it's quirks and bugs and they seem unique to every individual copy, no really.  For me adjusting the skill points at will and modifying each individual character for best effect was fun.  Making different 4 man combos that worked well together was an engaging aspect of the game.  Loads of boss battles.
