Er, pretty sure there's been more than only four "major athletes" to sign with either TNA or WWE. Like, a f*cking sh*tload more...

Your post claims of all history, so why are you suddenly being time restrictive now? Off the top of my head, Ken Shamrock, The Rock, Ron Simmons, and "Pacman" Jones instantly spring to mind, all of whom more than meet the criteria estaished based on some of the names you chose to list, and if I were to give it more thought or do some research, I am absolutely positive it wouldn't be hard at all to come up with even more examples, even some from your strangely restritrictive timeframe of choice (as if pre-2002 doesn't count as part of wrestling history or something...).

And Mark Henry so does count, and as I type this, Monty Brown also jumps to mind as another example that even fits in your timeframe.

Edit: And how about Jack Swagger and Bobby Lashley? Hell, we can keep at this all night long I bet as more and more examples come to mind. That's how many there are.

Ugh, why? Why is Jackson coming in? Unless Jackson takes years to actually transistion from MMA to actual wrestling, this is going to be interesting for about two weeks and then be pointless.

Is Jackson not aware of how horrible TNA is?  Apparently not.

To be fair, WWE's not exactly a good alternative these days...

True that.  Given the fact that WWE acts as if they have only four wrestlers in the roster, Jackson probably wouldn't be utilized very well.

yeah have had a lot more major athletes join wrestling, but not many HUGE ufc names (lesnar doesn't count since he was in wwe before the ufc) so glad he is joining TNA since they focus on actual wrestling there and he's a hell of a wrestler, will have to see how they use him, as a regular wrestler who will be there often and actually wrestle or like wwe's damn celeb's like dwayne wrestling whenever they want and shoving them down everyone's throat for no reason, it will be interesting for sure though since he can actually wrestle in real life

if he actually wrestles then good move, if he does nothing like king mo bad move

it'd be cool to see these MMA guys who can actually wrestle put in a wrestling match yet they're the ones who do nothing while snookie gets the actual matches in the biggest ppv of the year...
