Assassin's Creed 4 runs at 1080p@60fps on the PS4

The multiplayer of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was playable on the showfloor. Thus we captured some gameplay videos. Note that the game was running on PS4 in 1080p and 60 frames per second.

objectively speaking the reason for this is simple, there is more awsomeness present in the PS4

I remember when sheep thought AC3 was going to run at 1080p/60fps.:( I have no doubt that PS4 will actually deliver, unlike wii-u.

Exactly. 90% of the games shown look like current gen games runnign on a gmaing PC. The other 10% did have anoticeable icnrease in the level of detial and quality of lighting/shadows. 

THOSE are the games that will be runnig at 30 fps 1080p or 60 FPS 720p on console, and 1080p/60 FPS or even higher resolution/frame rate on PC.

What new console generations do is raise the low bar. Current gen consoles were the low bar, now the equivalent to a mid range PC is the low bar, and that's good for everyone Pc gamer and console gamer a like.

But, just like with every other console generaiton before, the idiots will come out of the woodwork and start proclaiming the PC is dead, or that console is dead etc. Then they'll go dormant for like 5-8 years until the next gen, and the cycle will repeat. They are like Cicadas in that way.

Bitter about what? Consoel gamers catchign up to 3 year old technology? No, noreally. I'm actually pretty happy. The low bar has been raised. As for console gamers acting like games that look EXACTLY like they have looked on PC for the past 3 years are "next gen", well that's just ignorance,and I really couldn't care less what they think.

It was a pre recorded video that froze and didn't work. It wasn't being played live. Whatever they were streaming it from fvcked up and froze the whole game and then it just crashed.

Destiny had 1 small hiccup at the start too.

This should be more than enough evidence to show everyone these demos are never played live on stage no matter what people say

Yep.. also, the BF4 MP was fun, loved how they had 64 "players" in the room, yet everything went down so perfectly, the opposing team didn't put up any kind of fight, it was a damn shooting gallery, despite one of the "players" saying to the squad "We're playing live, so let's not mess this up!" at the beginning of the demo! :P

In the end, all of those demoes are pre-recorded on high-end PCs... you don't leave anything to chance at huge events like the E3, there's a much smaller chance of crashes or any hiccups if you're just playing the video... but Sony proved it can still happen with Black Flag.
