hi everyone :) thanks for answering. cheers!

Edit1 what do you believe that is actually false?

what the heck is my brain doing to blindside me now?

what can you fathom that others find unfathomable?

Edit2 god is also a simulation and so as religion.

Oh, you mean like in Harvest except slightly less eschew? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIToXkiJU-8 Or maybe you mean like Sanitarium where the protagonist is actually trapped in the world of his own mind while he's being pumped full of the latest dream drug. Either way is spooky. I suppose the world being a VR is a slight possibility as its hard to actually disprove, like God.

It's a simulation for the soul. So if we reincarnate it's just like "getting a new character, where you spawning at this time. No we did California last game, pick a new level." "But its good places to camp."

Yes I have imagined it as a simulation. Not a digital one like The Matrix, but I wondered what if my brain is simply imagining the world around me.

It's partially true, though, you know. Your brain imagines or assumes through your senses and perception. There's no real way of knowing wether the human brain tells the whole truth, though. Or how much of it.

consciousness is real. i can scientifically prove if someone is a simulation or not but for that it will take some time. even a magician can't trick itself.

By VR I do mean simulated reality.

Nick Bostrom is a professor at Oxford University, faculty of Philosophy. Here is his Simulation Argument: You exist in a virtual reality simulated in a computer built by some advanced civilization. That civilization is most likely to be our own human descendants, although they may no longer be of the species Homo sapiens. They may run simulations of the past, studying their ancestors.

When I was younger I would lay awake at night pondering the nature of reality. The progression of my questioning progressed in this manner. Can our senses be trusted? To what extent can our understanding of reality be comprehended? Reality exists but why and how? Is there a God? Is the supernatural possible and if so, is it common? If there is a Creator God, how did he create this universe and does he communicate with it? Is Jesus truly the Son of God? If Jesus truly rose from the grave, what other miracles in the Bible could also be true? If these ideas are true, how then ought I live my life?

The Simulation Hypothesis (simulation argument or simulism) proposes that reality is a simulation and those affected(simulated) are generally unaware of this. imagine if someone you know is just a simulation.

Are you here in name of the group of scientists who think they can somehow show us whether reality is a simulation or not?
Because while they may find out that it is a simulation it is impossible for them to find out that it is not.

I have also wondered why people call green grapes white grapes. I wonder all kinds of stuff.

And while the Matrix argument is not totally improbable. There are theories that achieve the same results with far less assumptions.
