It was a decent game. I replayed it recently in one sitting and had the saem companion the whole way through. I feel like I'm a little soulless to "experience the emotional ride" people always go on about with this game but I still think it's a cool title. Not my GOTY though.

PS3 didnt have a bad year... all consoles had a terrible year this year not just the PS3 ;)

this year been totally dry expect for few fun exclusives and few fun multiplats

I played it too.. it was fun but i only played it once and dont think i would play it again lol.. to me it was a 8/10 game

To be fair, an amazing game doesn't make an amazing year :P

I think it winning was just testament to the quality of games offered this year...

Im claiming it wasnt just the PS3, it was all of them... seriously what make the 360 better than the ps3? halo? didnt you guys play enough halo? PS3 had Tales of Graces, starhawk, ratchet and clank, etc which were all fun but still wasnt as big or fun as 2010. PS3/Xbox/wii all had a dry year not just the PS3 as most lems claim

Arguments (silly ones) predictions:

1. Cows are the biggest hypocrites (All act the same).
2. 360 sucks (it had a better year than the ps3 in fact).
3. GS is biased PS3/360.
4. Journey is a movie.
5. Arcade games don't count (those have always counted in the spreadsheat against other arcade games).
6. Halo 4 didn't even deserve the GOTY nomination (Critics claim otherwise).
7. PS3 had a terrible year. (No, it has great games. Multiplats do exist)
8. Bladabon is a lem. (No, he isn't a lem :|)

It also has a very nice co-op system.

i'm quite pleased that Journey won :) that game deserves to be remembered for years to come!

Im claiming it wasnt just the PS3, it was all of them... seriously what make the 360 better than the ps3? halo? didnt you guys play enough halo? PS3 had Tales of Graces, starhawk, ratchet and clank, etc which were all fun but still wasnt as big or fun as 2010. PS3/Xbox/wii all had a dry year not just the PS3 as most lems claim

i feel theres better games more deserving of GOTY if im being honest.

Forza Horizon,Borderlands 2,Far Cry 3 (which is one of the best shooter i've played ever in my honest opinion) are way more deserving.

Borderlands 2 is a fanatstic shooter. Farcry 3 on the other hand, is the most overrated game of the year.

Halo 4 - best shooter of 2012. Forza Horizon - best racing game of 2012. Spelunky - best platformer game of 2012. Let's not forget that Halo 4 killed the myth about PS3 being more powerful. I is winning best graphics everywhere :P

I'm sure Journey is amazing, but 360 obviouly had a better overal year.
