Do these games work on the DSi?

1. Yoshi's Island
2. Zelda Spirit Tracks
3. Sonic the Hedgehog Collection

I'm pretty sure Spirit Tracks works on the DSi system, but I read on an eBay listing that Yoshi's Island does NOT, so I'd like to confirm before I buy them.

I thought all DS games worked on the DSi system. Am I going to have to check a compatibility list every time I want to buy a new DS game now?

Pretty certain all LEGIT DS Games (other than ones requiring the GBA slot) work on the DSi. If the ebay auction says it doesn't play on the DSi, its probably not the LEGIT game, but a pirated or conterfit version - which usually plays on the DS but not the DSi I hear.

Edit: So, I would obviously avoid bidding if they say that. Find a LEGIT copy.

Yeah they should work. If you have any other region games look at the closely. I found out my Mario Party DS was fake. Im really annoyed at that. Sellers on Ebay can sell them aslong as they write "work on DS only".

I looked on Amazon and it's selling for $87.99. Is Yoshi's Island a Japanese import or something? I'm not sure why it's selling for so much.Vic-Ferrari

I don't think that game may be in print anymore since its kinda old so maybe thats why its going for so much. I was lucky to find a copy at GS for $30 about a year ago.

Any Ebay listing that says that it only works on the original DS system is a bogus version of the game.

That being said, Yoshi's Island is going for $20 on Half.com for a like new item.

Region locked means that if it is a European game, then it won't work on an American DSi.
