like icarus405 i'm more single player guy. it's rare but i may visit some mp games sometimes. LeWuZ is the name to fear ;). oh, fear combat was last fps i played a bit on internet.
very strange. u may restart ur router and switch by simply removing their adapter from wall socket (cut the power) but i hardly believe this is the case. if u can't load server list it more game's problem. what u may check: - are your game(s) updated, patched - aren't your firewall (or antivirus) blocking There may be some more technical issues. aren't something blocked in routers setting, are windows's settings right (and functional)...
what games don't work and which does? since what doing games won't connect? maybe there are ISP problem. u may try to call their helpdesk and ask do they have any idea why u can't play on internet.
why u think it router? of course it may be. but maybe your internet service is to blame? maybe there are some ports closed... i don't know. check your modem's config too. how can't u restart your router? if u take out power and plug it back after a while it will restart. or do you want back default settings? that's different subject.
router is same? if yes, then i told u, try to speak with it's seller. maybe he/the place knows something about that. maybe guarantee? u may look internet maybe there are similar problems with it. maybe your windows teases you? reinstall? better yet, clean install.

Ive always been interested in a group of people kinda like a clan that just got to gether and played different WWII games just for fun. maybe a role specific group. A sniper, a machine gunner, a medic, anti armor, engineer, a shotgun toteing pointman and variouse rifle men and submachine gunners. Alot of WWII games use these positions and wepons so they carry over well.
