Nobody other than OSU and Michigan fans and a few Penn fans care anymore. Even the recruiting sites don't give a crap anymore. They are now focusing on 09 recruiting. Speaking of which Texas already has 12 commits after 2 Junior days.
5 star saftey Matt Elam decommitted from UF and committed to FSU today. That makes 3 five stars to committ to FSU this past month, with Lamarcus Joyner (#1 cornerback, #5 player overall according to ESPN) and Jeff Luc (#1 MLB, #6 player overall). This is looking like a good recruiting year for FSU.
There are also rumors that Andre Debose is considering transfering from UF.
Michigan pulled in a top 10 class (or close enough to it) based on everyone's numbers. Everyone except ESPN that is. So I think I'll go off the numbers of "everyone else". I mean, they (ESPN) still had Devin Garder listed as "verbal" even though he's been enrolled at Michigan this entire semester.
Auburn goes in and gets the #1 players in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. I'll take it.geaux321
I'm impressed with what Auburn was able to do. Didn't expect them to get a recruiting class like that. As for Florida, wooooot! Lots of needed defensive players.
USC pulled in the top class....for now. They do still have that impending hearing with the NCAA. And there's already one player waiting to sign his LoI until after it. If/when the NCAA smacks down USC, I wonder how long before they lose pretty much every one of those big time players?
