I have never played the Gamecube version of Soul Calibur II, so I can't really comment on that. That makes Super Smash Bros. Brawl the best, in my opinion...
Soul Calibur II was a fantastic game, and if it wasn't up against the likes of the Smash Bros series, I would vote for it. But I have to go with Brawl on this one.
Nothing major, the DS version of Tetris had cameos by all the major Nintendo mascots, sometimes they were just in the background or they used a tune from the series though.
In Super Smash Bros. 1 I think Link was the best character in the game. He was as fast as the other character, but his sword gave him a longer reach, plus his bombs and boomerang was perfect missiles and his up special move was also useful. In Melee he became slower and not as great. Since I'm a European I STILL haven't played Brawl. He wasn't that great in Soul Calibur and I think he was a bad addition (yet him being on the cover and the game being set to 50 % of its original prixe, I did buy it). So I'll say Super Smash bros 1. Haven't played tetris DS though.
I love him in all of the Super Smash Bros. games, and he is the only character I'll play as in those. But I picked Soul Calibur II just because I love the gameplay of those games, and I had a blast playing as him against the characters of the game.
^To add on to why he's a low teir character well for the original Smash Bros. for N64 his UP-B was just terrable when it came to coming back onto the map. As for my favourite game with Link guest starring I'm gonna go with SSBM. SSBB I don't really like how they changed him, SSB like I said his jump is horrable, and I found him to be too cheap in SC2 but thats just my opinion.

It's not like they intend on Link being a low-tier character; that's a balancing problem which the developers never fixed. It's hard work perfectly balancing opposing factions in any game where the forces are different.
Regardless if it's a fighting game like smash bros or a RTS like Starcraft; it's hard to get them perfectly balanced. Idealy yes, the developers and gamers would love to see Link on the exact same tier as every other character, however that's just not realistic. He could just as easily have been a top-tier character as a low-tier.
I have to admit, I actually spent more time with Melee than I did with Brawl. I looked at my times a month ago, and I had spent 55 hours on Melee( I played it for about 3 years, then stopped), and 35 on brawl, which I had owned for a year and a month. I still haven't caught up to my Melee time in this last month.
There are multiple reasons for this, but I felt more excited for Melee than brawl. I stayed excited longer for Melee. Brawl is still awesome, and after playing with its graphics for a while going back to Melee is surprising. It looked great up until I bought Brawl, then I go back and it does look like a 7 year old game.

I'm agreeing with you. Soul Calibur II was an excellent game, one of the best fight games. Out of that list SSBB is my next favourite. It was awesome.

I agree with Leenah, SSBB is second to Soul Calibur, Link fights like a beast there
Out of those games, I've only played two of them, but I would say that Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the best, because it's got more people and more places.
I really like brawl since they beefed up the one player action and the overall amount of options you have... but I have to say that I enjoy the fighting of melee much better. The pace of the game managed to feel sluggish and not as fluid as melee was. That may be just my opinion on the game. Soul Caliber II was sweet, but I just felt that melee is top notch. Plus link gets to dominate all the other famous game characters and not just the soul caliber line up
