That kind of blows; I'd hate to be allergic to some type of food, I'd be tempted to eat it even though it can harm me.

Never tried clams, though out of those I'd say they taste more like shrimp. However, I would like to clarify that while out of those 3 that's what it tastes most like, prawns still have a distinct enough flavour to differentiate them from shrimp. At least from my experience anyways.

Prawns are like the cousin of traditional shrimp. They have a rather crustacean appearance to them, and are usually larger than most shrimp.

Went to that noodle bar again with my bf yesterday, had salmon nigiri sushi again and he had a pork cutlet noodle soup, and I stole a little bit of his noodles and a bite of a pork cutlet floating in the soup... now I want that soup real bad, it was divine

You should ask if they know, or are willing, to do fried green tea ice cream.

I have a sushi buffet that recently opened close to my house, and not only has it been a blessing to my palate, but they have made me and my coworkers a specialty dessert for being loyal customers. It's not on their menu, and supposedly difficult to pull off, but every now and then they will make it for us.

Though I'm not 100% sure on approach, the process is basically covering a scoop of ice cream in a batter and then quickly deep frying it. The end result is a brownish looking crust with soft ice cream in the center. The batter has a pancake-like flavor, but is more thin and crispy than a traditional pancake.

Damn, now I'm hungry...

I guess the word Cocktail somehow became universal for: any mixed drink containing alcohol. The origin of the word however, I have no idea why it was chosen.

According to wikipedia, the exact origins of the word cocktail is unknown, however it's meaning has evolved in that in originally referred to drinks that were a mixture of spirits, sugar, water and bitters but has since come to refer to any mixed alcoholic drink. It's first use in printed media appears to be April 28th 1803 in the publication The Farmer's Cabinet.

Only problem being you'd need to be alive before 1803 for that to work :P
