Banner of the Week : Updated 30th March 2007

Everytime, we have a new banner put up, i'll try and give a short description about the banner or the artist. :)

Feel free to discuss here. And show our appreciation to the volunteers who has created banners for the Final Fantasy Fans Union

There will be a poll for each banner. When there is a new banner put up, the previous poll will be removed and the results will be shown in the introduction post, like the one below.

The results will help in future selection of displayed banners.

The banner is the 2nd runner up for the Final Fantasy Fans Union Banner Competition. It shows Ifrit on the right side. The fire/burning background describes the Summon's elemental propety well.

This banner is created by THIZZ-SS. He was a regular at the Final Fantasy Fans Union before he was held back by events outside of GameSpot.

He was a participant in the union's imaging competitions and his entries have won recognition from voters.

Ladies and Gentlemen.. The banner for the week, is created by THIZZ-SS.

He mentioned that this banner was to have a soft and laid-back theme to it. It shows Squall and Rinoa embracing each other on the right-hand side.

Once again, the banner presented is a fine piece of artwork by THIZZ-SS.

It should be instantly recognized that the female depicted in the banner, is none other than Final Fantasy VII's Tifa Lockhart. I wonder what's in the background though, anyone have a guess? :P

If you look at the logo with the words "Final Fantasy Fans Union", you can see the silhouhette of the Final Fantasy Agito XIII logo. The FF Agito XIII logo actually shows the 13 characters, to be featured in the game itself, each wielding their own unique weapon.

It looks like a girl dressed up as Tifa :PSpurs_Fan

This banner, once again, is ALSO created by THIZZ-SS. Clearly, this time, you can see that the image is taken from the latest Final Fantasy movie, Advent Children. I think this banner has a fairly clear concept, with a signboard at its core, directing you to the "Final Fantasy Fans Union". It's simple, yet attractive in its sense. [HINT: Pay close attention to the written words on the signboard. ] :P

Like the previous banner, the union logo depicted here is based from the Final Fantasy Agito XIII logo. It shows the silhouhette of 13 different main characters from FF Agito XIII, each holding their respective weapons.

Please pardon my poor imaging skils. Banner currently on display, is created by Kinetic-Core [me!]. This banner, as can be seen, is created with images from Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Well, it's in conjunction with the Tokyo Game Show held later this weekend.

The four names listed in the banner, are the names of the people who will deliver important information from the Tokyo Game Show 2006, mainly Final Fantasy and Square Enix related news, of course.

I thank them sincerely for their help in presenting news and information to all you great union members. :D

My god.... actually i wanted everything to come out according to alphabetical order. But, well... I used diagonal appearance order instead :?

Darmi would most probably be complaining that why is everybody's name there, instead of just his alone... :roll: And, im still new with animated imaging, i think i can only hope to do better in future.

I like it. It has a great dynamic to it and the animation is nice and fluid, if a tad fast.

On a side note, where did you get the FF Tactics font? Ive been looking for that for years, and I could never find it.
