In my opinion a sweep is where you end up posting enough to where your name is on at least most of the threads in the first page. Successful Board Sweep is only successful imo if you've managed to post on every single thread on the first page in the union or forum, without getting interrupted by anybody, and all the circles for the threads are red with no green (new posts) after you're finished, and free to either post in threads on previous pages or go and do something else, ie something more productive. :P
I've posted on every non-sticky thread on the first page and half of the second page before, so I guess you could kind of call that a board sweep, right?
