I have played four Zelda games (completed and pretty much 100%): ALTTP, OOT, MM and Links awakening (Gameboy). All four was truly amazing. I don't care that much about metascore, more about my own opinion. And ALTTP is one of my favourite experiences ever (and I played it again a couple of years ago and imo it still a very fun game). OOT was magical when it came. Yeah def one of the greatest franchises. It has also inspired so many games. Take the highly praised combat in Dark Souls. It's pretty much a refinement of OOT.

I dont see what the name has to do with anything. Each games takes the series and does something different and unique with it. Everytime I play a new Zelda game it feels like a fresh new experience.
