Maybe its happenning.
Well?
A remaster is never worth buying. A remake would be nice, but EA is here to milk you as much as possible, and its not by rewoking the whole trilogy that they'll be able to release the thing with a $10 budget.
No thanks.
mass effect has always sucked, the game since day one looked like they couldnt even handle the unreal engine lmao looked so amateur.
In a heartbeat. I think I've calmed down over ME3's ending enough to replay it now. Plus, I never got to complete my Renegade Vanguard play-through.
For this to be worth a re-release, they need to rework the combat system, which cannot be done in a simple remaster. It needs a remake.
Important question. Will it come with all the DLC or will EA find some way to additionally nickel and dime players?

Yea, thinking same. Last Trilogy had no DLC as The lair of the shadow broker ETC.
No. Mass effect games were terrible. some mediocre cover shooter games with dialogue system hailed as greatest RPGs.
Having never played mass effect this is probably a great time to start have heard great things about the series.
I... kinda couldn't give a shit.
Nope.
Cyberpunk going to blow Mass effect out of water.
LOL mass effect a shitty gears of war clone.
Just started playing my umteenth play through of ME3 but no, I find no need for these to be remastered.
Now a new next gen one or a very well done clone of an ME game would be very welcome indeed.
@R4gn4r0k: Look at their past few games, do you really want them anywhere near a Star Wars license?!?
They should make KOTOR 3. Without any influence from EA.Might work :)
No need imo. The visuals are still decent. The gameplay of ME 1 is super dated, though, and ME 2 is just fairly dated.
ME 3 has held up well, and ME A looks amazing and has best gameplay (but just absolute shit where it counts concerning an RPG).
I have played a total of about 15 playthroughs of the first 3 mass effects - so no I am already spun out on this series. Like any game it gets boring if you play it too much.
If they make another Mass Effect game I'd be down for that. Until then I'll be keeping an eye on their next game - Dragon Age 4. Hopefully it will be more like DA Origins and less like Inquisition. Though probably not.
I only ever played the first Mass Effect and I didn't even finish it. I remember for its time there was a bunch of performance issues and I believe that's what turned me off about it.
I am aware the series really got better after the first game with the second entire widely known as the best entry.
One of these days I'd like to give Mass Effect a second take because I'm pretty sure I'd like it.
I might want to replay them one day, I have them already through Xbox One BC, they're great games but I already have a huge backlog of games I have yet to play.
I would rather replay the Dead Space trilogy over again.
Nahh original games were great, but see no need for slightly better graphic in a already decent looking game...
If they go back and remake ME 1 and ME 2 to have either the combat of ME 3 or ME Andromeda, then I might consider it. I doubt they would put that much work into it though if it is just a basic remaster.
It really depends on the quality if it's just a lazy remaster I'll easily skip it. It can't just look slightly better it needs to be built from the ground up but I highly doubt that will be the case.
I always hear from people how great the "mass effect' trilogy is I've never played it so I might pick this up if its cheap.
I dunno people say how great baldur's gate was and I hated on em its usually western RPG's that get a lot of praise and they end up sucking for me so I dunno about this.
I might stick to old final fantasy remasters or JRPG's over these WRPG's by Bioware.
Hell no. I wan't something new from Bioware.
Why haven't they made a Star Wars RPG yet? They are the one developer that could've done something nice with the Star Wars IP.
And instead they made Anthem.
I dont think Bioware is capable of making a good RPG anymore. the talent has understandably left.
its up to Obsidian, CD Projekt Red and Larian now
I was a Bioware apologist for years but its over man. they are dead in all but name.
i haven't played mass effect 1 since it first came out. i loved it then warts and all but i get the overwhelming sense it's one of those games that really hasn't aged well, and revisiting it will ruin the great memories i have of it. i turned a blind eye to the mako in 08. i doubt i could brush it under the carpet in 2020. so it remains un-revisited. for that reason i'd probably pass on a remaster. plus i think mass effect 2 is hugely overrated and never bothered to play 3 because i never finished 2. so for those reasons too
I will more than likely pick it up when the price drops if true. Would be nice to have all 3 on one disc.
