Why PSHome is amazing.

FREE MOVIES.

Yeah I got back on PSHome after what seems like Years and they upgraded their look and everything and their biggest addition I believe was Studio 3 which features Crackle which gives out FREE movies.

and they aren't black and white, these are Movies like Godzilla to Resident Evil to Step Brothers to Full Metal Jacket.

It even has TV Shows and Anime!

Seriously this is awesome, while Xbox 360 gets Cable TV which you have to pay seprately with the Xbox Live cost, You get FREE TV SHOWS AND MOVIES WITH the Ps3 on PSHome.

I think that's pretty swick. (sweet and sick at the same time.)

It's awesome because I can pose as a girl and get the horny teenagers to give me free stuff.

Yeah and there are some pretty awesome Internet Fights that go on in there.

Like these two Girls were fighting who was prettier and then it turns out that they were both Guys and one was a "MMA Fighter" (lol) and was telling everyone where he lived so he could fight them.

me and 3 other "guys" laughed.

Actually I like the service that the X360 has, but regardless. I'm going to remind everyone to proceed with caution with this topic.

Two things:

1. Don't talk about sites that contain "offensive material" as covered by our TOU.

2. Don't talk about sites with illegaldownloads. Services like Hulu however are fine.

looked like DVD quality to me. Saw Godzilla vs Space Godzilla, Jackie Chan Drunken Fist and My Sister can't be this Cute on there and the Quality was pretty nice.

Granted I didn't watch all of those fully, but the quality was better than I expected.

PS Home is amazing in THEORY. The concept of a virtual world with tons of meta games, little secrets and additionals for games you love, little mini games, an MMO like social environment and cool free swag is all well and good, but its just not at all that great.

Its boring, has dumb limitations (really? lines for virtual bowling?), takes a while to load up, doesn't have many fun games, and the use of real money to buy crud like fake gloves and boots and houses is just dumb.

So many ways Home could have been a masterpiece, but it was just kind of lazily done.

Let me guess, the free stuff is for Americans only?

I personally rather Second Life myself.

Last time I went on after the update, it was actually much better than I'd expect it to be. Anyone who can and hasn't at least checked it out, I'd suggest you do at least that. It'll likely surprise you, being much better than it was before.

Well I only buy stuff on Home when there's nothing on PSN that I want or there's nothing on PSN that I can afford.

(like I want that $10 DLC but I only have $4 and I can't buy anything but Themes with $4 so I might as well buy something useless like Virtual Clothing, do the same with Xbox too.)
