why isnt metal gear solid 4 on 360 yet?

now that mgs rising is coming to 360, why isnt 4 coming to over?

is there a exclusve deal w/ sony on this? is it a timed exclusive? is it an exclusive forever?

to what ive read, konami is 3rd party and does not owned by sony. now taht mgs4 sales have quieted off, perhaps they hsould think about porting over mgs4 over. i thought mgs is loyal to sony, but rising is coming, so perhaps why not 4.

Don't know what to tell you. Something about sound and video compression being an issue. Loyalty. Worries about an upset fanbase. Possibility in low sales. Issues with Microsoft. Who knows?

MGS4 was built for the 360. It would be too much trouble converting it.I guess that's why they put just put Rising on the 360 (Well it's comming to the Ps3 too. You know what I mean).

Its not about being lazy Kojima productions are busy with many games MGS rising, MGS PW, ZOE3 (as what Kojima said) and they are supervising Castlevania Lords of shadow.

Metal Gear Rising is a spinoff from the MGS series, not an actual continuation of the story like MGS4 was. And no, MGS4 will never be coming to the Xbox 360.

Because not many people want it on 360, just like they didn't want MGS2. MGS4 was mediocre and overrated. The story was absurd and too drawn out, even by MGS standards, which says enough. And the transitions between different stealth positions weren't very seamless and fluid, but very stilted.

Exactly, when people say the game is too big, it really is. Aside from taking almost the entire BD disc, there are the aformentioned references, Rising actually uses an entirely different engine than MGS4. Also, I wouldn't trust a magazine that has been defunct for over a year, and I know EGM would often tell about rumors in a section dedicated to them, no concrete fact there.

MGS4 will never be on 360, though I'm sure Rising will be good.

they are busy on other games that were conceived as multiplatform titles from day 1.

Pretty much anyone who has wanted to play it has already played it. A port now would be a waste of time...

i am fine w/ even a weatered down verson of mgs4 perhaps like 25% reduction in graphics or whatever, like how tony hawk's pro sktare 3 on ps1 is a watered down version of its ps1 cousin

im fine w/ watered down mgs4... a lot of people would be nowing that mgs4 is one of 3 ps3 games they must have
