Why are PC gamers so insecure about consoles?

Of course brand new graphic cards released are going to be better? Why do we see bragging rights about how the ps4 is going to be smoked with every new release? Like, obviously? This isn't why i bought a PS4. I got it for 250 on cyber monday with 4 games and i couldn't be happier.

I could buy a gaming PC if i wanted, but i don't have enough time to dedicate to gaming to make it worth my while, i get about 4-5 hours gaming max a week these days.

pc gamers like games so when one is exclusive they throw hissy fits

go watch the pc gamers complaining about MCC and forza its just like a bitch fest omg im not gettin that game its on a filthy on console and they just wont shutup an deal with the situation an beg for ports an stuff to come there way

they won't even shut there damn mouths bitch an complain constantly instead of spend money on something

Ofcourse the more power console is going to give better version of games. Like, obviously? This isn't why i bought a playstation/xbox.

I can't play on consoles now.

PC gamers think they are hardcore and console gamers are casual.

There should also be a law about making sure basements have the proper amount of windows.

Pc gamers attempt to hide there insecurities and fears behind a veil of condescending cynicism.

The reality of the matter is: unless it's a low risk piracy game or a low budget indie game, pc gaming is now primarily consisting of console ports. i.e. console gaming.

Purported claimed of "superiority" have been construed by an aggravated minority: attempting to give the impression of a false reality.

Essentially: it's deluded back-patting.

Because the consoles are in the spotlight. Nobody really cares what kind of PC the hermits own or what they do with them etc.

Its the consoles that are the driving force in gaming.

This is System Wars. Why are you here if you don't like to see stuff like that? If you are only addressing PC gamers then you are biased. Some console fanboys here are insecure about even their own hardware. Let alone trash talking PC. One will talk and his several alts will invade the thread to defend him. I doubt these guys with alts even play games.

A PC Gamer feeling insecure about consoles would be like Scarlett Johansson walking past a group of crack whores and feeling insecure. Or a Ferrari owner driving by a 1986 Civic with rusted paint and four different tires and feeling insecure.

I couldn't give two craps about the X-Box one. Obviously i know i don't speak for everyone, hence system wars.

Not even Microsoft care about desktop pc's now. It's all about tablets.

Moba, MMO and casual bejewel style games are now what predominantly pc gaming is. All of these easily runnable on two generation old console hardware.

Yea, it's a bit ridiculous. The funny thing is that there are only very few games that actually take advantage of high end graphics cards. And even then, the difference isn't mind blowing. Is it really worth paying $1000 for a nice gaming PC just to play a few games on ultra settings? silly, me thinks
