Which one do you think is better? Uncharted series or Gears of War series?

Definitely Uncharted. Theyre both great though, and i have to give props to GeoW for having some awesome freakin' co-op. I just think Uncharted is an all around better series.

For gameplay, and online aspects, gotta give it up for Gears. For story, it's definately uncharted. I'd say they're about even when it comes to graphics and overall singleplayer experience, despite the current fanatasizm surrounding UC2. And Drake is certainly a lot more likable than Marcus, which is important. So each has their different strengths, and I don't think there's a clear cut winner. They are both terrific for different reasons.donalbane

I think you summed up my feelings exactly. UC-Story, Gears-Gameplay.

I enjoyed both of the UC games but ended up selling them back to Gamestop right after I finished them. Neither rated a second play through for me. The gunplay just doesn't cut it in UC. The platforming is great, though.

When you shoot a gun Gears, you feel like you are taking meaty chunks out of our opponent.

Uncharted

Im currently playing gears 2 and i just beat gears 1, but Uncharted is way better as far as story and characters. Although gears 2 is in my opinoin a better story than the first, neither of them compare to Uncharted 1 or 2

I haven't played gears of war so i'll refrain from submitting

Uncharted series is far more fun for me.

Gears of War 1 is a very good game, but I think I still like Uncharted 1 better. It wasn't as polished, but I like the characters + story + graphics. I also prefer how Uncharted does cover compared to Gears...I kept getting "stuck" on walls at inopportune times.

Uncharted 2 blows away Gears 2, no question. U2 was better than U1 in just about every conceivable way, while Gears 2's only notable improvement was Horde Mode. Plus the story in Gears 2...it's painful.

not sure if you are being sarcastic, but thats kinda like saying that UC gets some points deducted for not having aliens or a gun with a chainsaw attached
