Which game made you go "wtfomg-nowai!!"?

Gears of War has been that game for me.

The only wtfomg i got from MGS4 was how hard it was to register MGO.

Any Halo fans out there, during the final cutscene of Halo 3 i had a pretty big "wtfomg nowai!!!!" moment for a split second where it looked very much like Chiefy was about to die.Ninja-Hippo

I thought he was going to die too. My heart started racing when he slipped lol.

Like an idiot, I watched the ending of that game when it was leaked like a week before the game released. I will never do that with any game again.

One of my all time favorites that probably not too many people know. A sci-fi RPG where you play some loser detective. Anyway, you do some quests on a planet with really annoying inhabitants. When you're done, you fly home and enter some bar... and the freaking planet is waiting for you there! The people were so impressed with you, that they shrinked their whole planet to follow you and become a part of your party. That was truly WTF!?

I remember when I played Tomb Raider Legends, and I saw all the acrobatic animations I'm like holy crap no way!

In Rome Total War, my first major battle, I was totally shocked. I never knew something could be so awesome.

When I stepped off the boat in Morrowind, when I first saw the landscape in Oblivion.

When I played Crysis.

The ending of Half life 2 ep 2, and Cod4.

The battles in Cod2.

Using Force Wave in a room full of guys in Kotor. :P

Yes, I got a lot of these moments. :P

I've just finished playing MGS4, and I got to say....this game was epic and almost made me shed tears at times. Not only were the cutscenes epic, but so was the gameplay throughout the game.

Some of you may say "MGS4 is overated. The story sux. Halo 3 owns MGS4" and what not. I thought so too at first but holy....that definitely was not the case in reality once I even started the game. But..that's all about my experiences with MGS4.

Anywho, what game have you played that made you literally go crazy through out the whole game? I mean from gameplay to cutscenes to whatever.

Mines is MGS4. And yours? :)

im guessing the part that made u cry was those "raiden parts" lol i was like "NOOO RAIDEN"

the real omg part was the end with the special appereance...i was like "NO F'ING WAY"

Snake was on his way to GW and Raiden stayed behind to fight the group of FROG soldiers. I thought he was done for at that part. Good thing he wasn't.

And at the end when "he" arrived, I almost **** my pants :lol: It was good to see him one last time though.

MGS4 had its moments, but didnt grab me like the above, at all. Not saying those are better or worse games, those just made a massive impression on me, and knocked me back with how impressive they were - in a surprising way.

this gen so far only MGSIV....

Zelda OoT and Mario64

MGS4 get a mention too.

Also GRAW on 360 made me go wow. my first game this gen

Well, with a series like MGS with such deep character developments, it's like you're in a cinema. When you see the characters you know so well, and some of them being your most favorite, getting beaten so bad(Or shot at) it takes a toll on some people. I'm not ashamed really. I myself, didn't think MGS4 would be like that because the previous ones were good but meh(Maybe I forgot what my reactions were at the time.)

It was epic. I like how it ended :P
