Which console was last place this gen?

I look at business as well business. PS3 got into the least amount of homes and that is the goal. Sell your product. Now that being said, you don't have to be first in order to have a successful gen. I think the PS3 was a success from an entertainment perspective. Great gaming experiences I had with it.

The PS3-360 are pretty much tied in sales. The Wii won in the sales department.

The Wii U is first right now this gen and the PS4 and XBox One is last. Hehehe!!

This is a backfire because the X1 and PS4 are not even out yet try harder.

at SW we use total and exclusive count. PS3 had a slight less exclusives, but considerably more total games. PS3 also had better gfx.

I say PS3 won by a narrow margin.

PC was ofcourse first place, as having the best of all 3facets.

Units sold isn't the determining factor. It's a combination of total units + attach rate.

honestly it's hard to judge. For all intents and purposes the PS360 sold basically the same. The difference is too small to claim ownage so I can't help but laugh at both sides when they try to claim victory. Talk about grasping for straws. Then you have the wii u which outsold all them but failed as a console in terms of modern games. So I'll just say that personally for me the Wii failed. I was very happy with the PS360. I know that aint how you guys are judging it but that's how I'm seeing it.

The Wii has over 1100 games for it, which easily beats the XB1 and PS3 in number of games. The Wii also sold more units then the PS3 and XBox 360.

Whichever has least sales once the PS4 and X1 are released. Last I heard, the HD twins of this gen were tied for sales. Has the PS3 finally overtaken the 360 just before the finishing line, or did the 360 manage to put some distance between again? We shall see soon enough.

Even with the least amount of games, the Wii still had all the Metroid Primes, Super Smash Bros, two Zelda's, The Three Original Operation Rainfall games including Xenoblade Chronicles, Super Mario Galaxies, NSMB, Mario kart, Final fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Final Fantasy Fables, Pokemon Battle Revolution, No more heroes, mad world, sin and punishment. It's funny that with such few games that it could create so many sales. People are buying hardware for software unlike what is happening now with the PS4/x1, where they are buying hardware for hardware.

It was clear how far last place it was, It was just awkward to say it because of it's huge Sales Leap.

PS3 outsold 360 so 360 is last numbers wise.

That said, Wii was last place for me due to a lack of games I cared about.

Quantity does not equal quality. And just because wii fit sold more does not mean its better than gta v.

360 is last in games and sales. First in failure rate.
