Sorry, dumb question. When are you gonna stop listening to music, reading, watching Tv/Movies, and so on? People got to get the idea that gaming is any different from other diversions, and something to "outgrow".

I never considered myself employed.

Never crossed my mind. Because it's not a fucking job. It's a pastime. I'll play games as long as I still get enjoyment out of them.

When gaming goes completely digital. I'll become a retro gamer at that point.

I was considering replying after the PS4 gen, but I would still play my old stuff. I guess I'll play a lot of my older games till I die. Who knows, with how capable other drivers are, I could die tomorrow.

Once I jump over, or get impaled on the flagpole. Whichever comes first.

Possibly next year. I've noticed I've been weaning down on gaming over the past few years. It's inevitable that I'll get a life at some point.

I couldn't imagine not gaming. That would be really boring.

I'm 38 and have no plans of quitting anytime soon. But you never know what the future will hold. With the way dlc is going who knows they might start selling games in downloadable chapters. Or pay $5.99 to play the ending. I don't think I would quit all together I'd just stick with the classics. It's been 20 years since Super Metroid and I still like to go back to it from time to time same with the Castlevania games and Metroid Prime trilogy. I hate dlc with every fiber of my being. I feel like they're just trying to squeeze us for every penny they can.

Only if something bigger forced me to stop. A decrease will eventualy happen but quit all together? Nah, it's fun, it has been fun for me for 20 years now so I see no stopping this x)

Probably never. Unless when I get old and I have a severe case of arthritis in my hands. Even then, I might try to endure the pain.

The way things are going I will retire from gaming forums and websites long before I retire from gaming. The worst part about gaming now is the community.

Unless I got tired of gaming for good, I will not retire. Age may be factor if I am unable to physically play them.

I tried to "retire" from gaming once before, didn't have a console for a year and a half. Didn't stay like that for long though. I am even more hardcore for games now then back when I had more time to play them. It is crazy. I dont think I will ever stop. Ever since I opened my mind and began giving all games chances I always find something to keep me coming back.

This is the only thing in foreseeable future that would turn me off gaming... but other than that, I'll continue to game for as long as I still enjoy it.

If the upcoming generations and iterations of consoles begin to suck ass, there's always retro gaming to fall back on, which is what I'm doing right now. Either that, or become a PC gamer. And no, I'm not a PC gamer, but if push comes to shove, if the state of gaming becomes shittier and shittier, I may fall back to retro and build a PC.

Well already retired twice and came back to it again.

I don't have a timetable but I play less and less. A few years ago, I tried atleast each game. Nowadays I am "stressed" if I have one game to play besides NHL, FIFA and GTA.
