For me it's GeOW, that game is brutal, chainsaw an enemy and you can see his ribs, organs, etc. And in the 3rd act, there is a room full of ripped-apart people, and if you explode a boomer....well you get the picture....>_>

Manhunt comes to mind, [realistic violence], though I didn't really take a liking to it..
shadow of rome, you can cut people in half,cut there head off and beat there falling body with it, you can beat a enemy to a inch of there life and when they beg for mercy and wet themselfs you crush them in a giant press. is that brutal enough? if it isnt i can go on for hours about how violent the game is.
If you want to go old school. Night Trap was brutal for it's time. I got the 3DO version. But God of War 1 and 2 are ultra-violent. Gotta love using the blades to rip off heads and tapping the O button to stab baddies through the mouth.
Killer 7. I've played God of War, Gears of War, and a lot of other very violent games (no Manhunt, though), and none were so incredibly, consistantly, and unappologetically brutally violent as Killer 7.
i remember downloading this kkk game for my pc where you shoot black people, i deleted it a long time ago though, it's a pretty racist game. i didn't like it =/
The Immortal comes to mind. First game I ever played where you could gut somebody and lobotomize them in pretty graphic detail (for the time). I had it for the Genesis. You should check it out if you've never heard of it. Pretty dang original game for its time. Made Mortal Kombat look tame in comparison. Manhunt probably tops it though just for that second level crowbar fatality.
Even though the graphics wernt that good,, I would say in terms of pure violence. Old Ultima Online. Back in 1998 in Ultima Online And online MMORPG PC game, you could Rob someone blind, vandilize there house, steal everything in there house, blow them up with bombs and poisons, sik wild animals or monsters on them, kill them with various weapons or magic, then Carve there naked corpse up and decorate your house with there body parts. Of course since then the game has been dumbed down to appease the carebare crowd.

Easily Mortal Kombat, particulary Deception and Armageddon. What other game involves sticking a sword up someone's butt and ripping out both their brain and their heart? Or torture the opponent through slicing off arms, only to rip out their spine?

You forgot about freezing their legs, smashing them, your foe then starts crawling backwards begging for mercy, then you stomp on their chest causing their head to explode.

If only I could remember the name; it took place in some sort of asylum. You'd go from room to room killing 'patient's with this laser weapon. It was particularly violent with the blood and guts splattered every where; but nice graphics for a Playstation 1 game.

Shadowman? I know it was on PS1, there was a section of the game where you were in an asylum, and the shadowgun/soulgun kinda looked like it shot lasers. I'll find a pic...

Chess. In this particular version when you take the opponents psice its done quite violently. I think my favorite is when a knight takes a knight. He goes all monty python on him. He cuts off his sword arm and the guy still wants some, then you cut off his other arm and hes still at it, then you cut off one leg and hes hopping around, then you cut off his other leg and hes standing on his nubs and then you just punch him in the face.
Scarface The World Is Yours, is a pretty violent game, you can get a chainsaw chop peoples limbs off and that.There is worse games but thats the worst ive played, plus it has extreme language and a option to curse people. I don't really like games like Man Hunt
