I think that would be my old gameboy which lasted about 5 or 6 years I believe until I gave it away.
I sold my gamecube after about 3-4 years (big mistake :()
I had a DS for a year or two until I lost it somewheres :/
My PSP lasted 2 years or something until It dropped a few meters and the UMD reader stopped working.
My first PS3 stopped reading disks after a year, then my second one also stopped reading disks after another year, lmao and now I have another one.
So uh... my systems don't last long.
Playstation 2 and Nintendo DS.
This is the Correct Answer.
Oh you meant the Longest Running System that's still working.
That would be my Super Nintendo, We've had that sucker for YEARS.
I only list the working, > 5 years old ones, mine are:
Nintendo Family Computer (or NES in the US), nearly 16 years old now, had it since 1996.
SNES, 11 years old, weird noise sometimes.
PS2, 8 years old, sent to maintainance twice, but last time I check, still work.
PS3, 5 years old.
What about yours?

I still have a working Atari 7800 that I bought at launch.
I still have the following which work fine (or at least should)
NES
Sega Mega Drive
Game Gear
Saturn
PS1
PS2
Dreamcast
Gameboy Advance
And also these:
Amiga 500
Atari
Commodore 64
Spectrum ZX (not so sure if this one works)
SNES: Christmas of 1993
That is my longest lasting system.
I still have all the systems I got after the SNES; I had a 2600, NES, and Genesis.
I purchased an NES from ebay in 2005.
So many SNES, NES, playstations & Atari, those consoles are surely built to last.

My SNES.
Also, is it possible to edit titles? That grammar kind of hurts.
TilxWLOC
Yeah, feel free to suggest a better title. English is not my first language :P
What is the longest lasting game system you've ever owned?
Not hating or anything, just sometimes little things really get you, you know?
That's pretty unfortunate, how did you PS3 fail so many times? I'm pretty lucky with my PS3, I nearly had to sent it back once because it made some weird noise, but then I vacuumed it & it works fine ever since, gotta do maintenance regularly.Only system I've owned that has failed is the PS3 3 times.
All my old systems still run fine apart from my PS1 where the disc holder is broke.
Oldest would be my commodore 64 from 1984, pure console would be my Master system from 1987.

My NES still works to this day and I had that thing since I was a kid. That was like 1994 I think, I was 4 when I got it.
This thread just reminds me how bad the 360 systems were, my first RROD happened in less than a single year of owning it.

How old is your PS3 btw?
It'd better last long with that price tag lol. Seriously, we're the lucky few, I got my money worth with my PS3,My Master System Plus from 1986 still works just fine :) I have over 20 systems. The only ones to break are my PS1, PS2, Dreamcast and Virtual Boy. My launch PS3 is still going strong, which is quite surprising!

Heh yeah I was thinking the same. I know some people who have gone through 3 or 4 PS3s since launch. I'm still going to be annoyed when it does eventually break though. Even if it ends up lasting 10 years:P

Frist one had a faulty hard drive and 2 had failed blu ray lenses.
(This is photo of an Interstate 1110 for some reason the 595 is very hard to track down).
As close a photo as I can get to my Interstate 595 TV game bought in 1975, and cherished by a very enthusiastic 5yr old. Mine is not in quite as good a condition as the photo but it does still work.
I've had my N64 since Christmas of '97, and I still play it every once in a while. (I wish I still had Goldeneye and Starfox though :()FireSpirit117Starfox is still worth playing. GolenEye is not. On topic, also my N64. Thing still works perfectly.
Yeah, I can't find much picture & info of this system either (I know the interstate 82 (game for windows) though), what kind of games does it play?(This is photo of an Interstate 1110 for some reason the 595 is very hard to track down).
