What's new on PS Vita - Spring 2015

There you go, SW. Straight from the horses mouth. I'm personally excited for the titles that they showed. Oreshika is still on the way!! Hotlime Miami 2, Shovel Knight, OlliOlli 2, Titansouls, Hell Divers, and Toukiden Kuwami. Awesome stuff. Who's ready?

Olli Olli 2 and Hotline Miami 2 are the standouts to me. Multiplats or not, I'm excited.

Why is there never any attention paid to Galak-Z? I have a feeling this is going to turn out to be very good, and it comes from the creators of "Skulls of the Shogun" which has garnered fairly high accolades across the board.

Unfortunately, nothing for me this month. I guess I'll get Hotline Miami 2 eventually, but I have to make my way through the first one though.

EDIT: Shovel Knight is amazing. I already have it on 3DS and Wii U, but if you have not played it already for some reason, be sure to get it.

Only care about HM2 and SK, and I already have SK on my 3DS.

Form factor and screen? Tell you what, I prefer the Wii U Pad's form factor, and it's a bigger screen too. There, Vita version is no longer definitive by your definition.

I don't want to bring it everywhere. I can't bring the Vita with me everywhere either, it's too big to fit in my pockets, and I don't want to throw it into the backpack, I don't want to damage it or scratch it. I play my Vita games mostly at home.

Incidentally, just to be clear, I have absolutely no objections to the PlayStation version being called the definitive version- like I said before, it has more content, and assuming it is not actively intrusive, like Murphy in Rayman Legends, that will by default make it the definitive version. Which is great, as mentioned before, amazing game, and it deserves to be played by more people.

Your initial argument for calling the Vita version definitive? Absolutely subjective and dumb, and even more indicative of your Vita shilling (what if someone doesn't like playing on a handheld? What if they want to play on a big screen? That automatically makes the PS4 or Vita versions better. What if they value 3D, or the extra mode that the 3DS version had? That made the 3DS version definitive). At least use objective reasons if you want to make a claim like that is all I am saying. 'We get Kratos?' Cool, awesome, that's a good reason for calling it definitive, PlayStation gets extra and hopefully unintrusive content. 'Form factor and screen?' My 60" plasma has a better screen than the Vita's 5 inch OLED, and I prefer the DualShock 4 or Wii U Pro to the Vita's layout. Portability is a complete non issue for me. There. Vita loses again.

There are plenty of games I'm excited for on the system though.

I had a problem with you using subjectivity and passing it off as objective fact. I made that very clear in my second post. I actually repeated that point three times.

I know what you think of the Vita. Any game would be definitive to you on the Vita. That is fine. That is great. Stop passing that off as 'the definitive' version is what I am saying.

@Slashkice: I can't wait for Axium Verge and Hyper light drifter. Hopefully they get a street date soon. Been playing some Binding of Issac, Suikoden 2, and Brandish.

vita has the most number of games more than anything else than any other system this gen, but it also has the fewest quality games, and it looks like the trend continues

@charizard1605: that's your interpretation, and a very extreme one at that. You recently suggested I made that Hyrule warriors vs mg rising thread to make a statement about MGS being better than Zelda. How silly is that? Maybe you shouldn't pass judgement on others so quickly? And I never said every game is best on Vita. In this particular case, a 2d old school platformer, yes Im going to enjoy it most on Vita. Also, I actually play a lot of games because I don't need to wait for a ps plus version or get s review copy, I have all systems, and can make my opinion. Thank you very much.

Hotline Miami 2 and Shovel Knight are awesome, but I don't need a vita to play them.

Sony should just quit on the Vita and concentrate on the PS4

Is Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate a mulitplat? I know it's not coming to Wii U.

Plus both have 9.0s, buddy. Something Vita won't see the light of again unless it's some indie game found on every other platform.

Oreshika looks cool, but other than that nothing really stands out too much. I already have the amazing Shovel Knight on the 3DS.

Sony should just cut their loses, vita release schedule this year is beyond pathetic.

@charizard1605: I'm curious, Chazzy. Do you consider Majora's Mask 3DS AAA or AAAE?

@PonchoTaco: AAA, to be technical, but functionally AAAE. It's the same way I consider Persona 4 Golden an AAAE, or even Persona 5. The only way to play these games on current generation is to play them on their respective current gen systems, so for all purposes, it's AAAE for me.

That said, for metagame purposes, it's not exclusive.
