I really want to play that game, but it is too hard to find.
Lunar 2 is one of my favorite games.

someone else who recognizes the glory of the Descent series. I salute you, brother. Fresspace 1 knocked my socks off back in '98.
Wasn't the first freespace a spinoff of descent and Freespace 2 was its onw game? Anyway its a godsend to the genre and may be considered the last great true space combat sim........:cry:Freespace 1 had to do with Descent. Freespace 2 was a continuation of the Freespace 1 game. Freespace 1 was E P I C.
I might install it again just to play through one more time. It's unquestionably good.
The descent series wasn't bad either...but I remember it giving me headaches. Too much 3D. I never did beat it.
...and yes, Freespace 1, 2, X-Wing, Wing Commander and Tie-Fighter were all I needed in my younger days. I wish the space flight sim genre could be resurrected :(
Loved the descent games. Don't recall beating the first one but got up to the last boss on descent 2, it was one of the biggest challenges I ever had in a game. And both Freespaces were masterpiecesRoguehunter...I mistyped. I meant to say that Freespace had nothing to do with the Descent games. I'm not even sure why they shared the same name like that.
Freespace 1 was IMO even better than Freespace 2. Everyone that owns a PC and a flight stick needs to play Freespace 1 and 2 at least once. they're not hard...but the story is told well and feels epic.
really wonderful games. near perfect space flight sims.
oh, and since it has no pictoral representation yet...
win.
i loved halo: ce, resident evil 4, and starwars kotor....but then again i dont know anyone who didnt.1337cole1337
Good god, man. Play some older games.
Anyway, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask take the cake.
Jesus that's tough... umm, if I had to pick from ANY game I've played, it'd have to be...
Ratchet and Clank: Up Your
Arsenal, B****!!!!!
Really, that game is my absolute favorite game on the PS2 and is easily a candidate for my favorite game, period. I still play this game everyday right now, and it's been 3 years going on 4.

Why bash on someones likes? I could bash yours saying OoT is expected and a stupid answer. And mine would have to be Glover. I loved that white glove[QUOTE="1337cole1337"]i loved halo: ce, resident evil 4, and starwars kotor....but then again i dont know anyone who didnt.MrDziekuje

Yours aren't exactly the oldest either...
The game I'll never forget about:

Halo
Half-Life
GTA3
Ocarina of Time
FreeSpace
Paperboy
Grand Turismo
ah ok, well i have that one too. Beat both of them and they are both amazing but I liked freespace 2 more. seeing the Sathanas blow up felt like one of my greatest achievments in a game. And "Into the lion's den" is my favorite level of any game.Oh, and want to add as awesome as they were, they had a few of the most annoying levels in a game. I would post them but i dont know how to do the "SPOILERS"Roguehunter...I mistyped. I meant to say that Freespace had nothing to do with the Descent games.
