What is your cult classic?

Everyone has a game like this. One that has a following that isn't that big but is dedicated. It could be old or new.

Mine would have to be Tribes 2. People still play it and it never was HUGE per se, but it has always been my favorite game and I go back to the Pong days.

Hmm I am not sure if this counts or not, but the incredibly underrated Baten Kaitos games would have to be mine.

I have a lot of relatively unknown games I'm into but I'd have to say I'm really big on the Mother series. I feel like many people haven't even heard of it outside of the Smash Brothers games.

This gen? Probably Alan Wake Of all time I would have to go with Vagrant Story, Odin Sphere, Maramasa the Demon Blade, Planespape Torment, Xenogears, Vampire the Masqurerade ...too many to think of lol.

Klonoa 2. One of the best platforming games of the previous gen.

Fatal Frame, and for this gen looks like it's going to be Vanquish.

I really like some games that didn't even gain a cult following.

Vampire the Masquerade. Equal to Planescape Tormet, BG2 and Kotor in my books...alextherussian

psichanauts was awesome,and im pretty sure i mispelled the title.Either way i loved that game and its to bad will probably never see a sequal.Also i loved odd worlds strangers wrath.Glad to see that strangers being rereleased as a download but would also love to see a sequal.

Its second to none in atmosphere, but the one weak pont of Vampires was that the actual story. What happened within the story itself and not the background side quests or world, was just not as strong as say Kotor (where the atmosphere was much weaker but the story and its twists were much stronger). BG2 had better combat and a more tactical experience while PS was basically just an awesome book. All incredible games which flourished in different ways..

yeah, probably C&C Renegade for me.

never a lot of people playing, but the fanbase is dedicated. and the Modding community is also very dedicated. because there's been many mods based on the game. as well as one that recreates the game in the Unreal 3.5 engine.

Mine would have to be Dragon's Lair. Played it when I was a young lad at a bowling alley when it first came out and it blew me away, the game was way ahead of anything at the time. Looks like it maybe getting a PSN release here soon, if so it'll be definently a first day buy for me.
