Wii: Zelda, Madden, Call of Duty 3, Warioware, Wii Sports...
So, either 4 or 5 depending on wether or not you count Wii Sports.
PC: Counterstrike: Source, Half Life 2 (plus all expansions) , Rise of Nations (plus all expansions) , Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, Battlefield 2 (with SF expansion), Civillization III, Morrowind, GRAW
So, eight there.
Gamecube: 25, most of them suck.
Wii: Red Steel, Zelda, Wario Ware, Wii Play, Monkey ball, Wii Sports
360: Oblivion, Gears, Final Fantasy 11
Ps3: Resistance
Ds: all kinds of games too lazy to list
Psp: Still collecting dust dammit!

A true manticore. MS and Nintendo love you...
[QUOTE="REVENGEotSITH"]You're an example of someone who bought a game without a console! That'd be hilarious if it were still true. How do you figure out an attach rate when the console number = 0?!?! HaHAahahashaasdfsadfsdn[QUOTE="Jandurin"][QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]Just got my Wii on Saturday... all I have is Twilight Princess. I am also broke and saving my money for Super Metroid, Metroid Prime 3, Supreme Commander and Spore.Jandurin
I think you read his statement incorrectly - he said he got a Wii and TP. That is a 1:1.
Nah, he's had Wii: Twilight Princess since the launch of the console, but just recently actually FOUND a Wii.OK. That's funny. He probably sat there and stared at the TP box every night before going to bed. "Someday, my precious, I will get to play you..."
I trade in most of my games. I only keep the ones that I know I will keep comming back to.
Do you think attach rate refers to all games bought or just currently owned?
cakeorrdeath
Well, you were the one who bought the game new, so I'd count it.
Dude, I think that cat in your sig pwned me the other night in Gears. I hate that cat... :x
[QUOTE="cakeorrdeath"]Do you think attach rate refers to all games bought or just currently owned?JandurinAttach rates are just how many total games were purchased for a system vs. total consoles purchased. So, those games you traded in would still be counted in the total scores, but it's likely someone else bought them, so even though two people had OWNED the game, only 1 (purchase) was counted. Because used game sales don't count for attach rates.

Yeah, that's where you hit a gray area. The developers/publishers don't see a penny from used game sales - only the GameStops/EB Games/etc. of the world. As a consumer, used games are great. They are cheaper and play the same. The thing is, they ultimately hurt the gaming industry. That's the main reason why, this gen, I've been buying new games and not trading in my old games.

OK, cows, lemmings, and sheep - what is YOUR attach rate for your repective "next gen" systems? Not rentals, but actual games you own for your systems. Isn't this what really matters, not consoles sold, but games per consoles sold? If you don't think so, then why do MS and Sony sell their systems at a loss per console???
Mine - 16 (Gears, GRAW, Oblivion, Crackdown, RSVegas, Madden 07, NCAA 07, Chromehounds, F.E.A.R., Blazing Angels, COD2, COD3, NFS:MW, Splinter Cell DA, NBA Live 06, FNR3).
REVENGEotSITH
Let's be perfectly realistic. If games and attach rate mattered so much, then why does MS lose the most money every year? Doesn't seem like that attach rate is helping them out much.

I really don't know. You'd think they'd be able to turn at least SOME profit by now. Probably just waaay to heavy on the front end (core development, marketing, securing exclusive deals).

The most recent numbers they released had them losing pretty much the exact same amount they lost with the original Xbox every year. The most recent numbers they released had them losing pretty much the exact same amount they lost with the original Xbox every year. ZIMdoom
