I have to say, I am impressed.
Still hope you can turn it off when you just wanna play single-player though.

Graphics-wise, it looks lackluster at best. By the way, as far as the whole premise is concerned - I mean seeing the world as a code - it reminds me of 2012 Syndicate reboot.

because graphics determine a game's quality
You idiots screaming teh Downgrade, now they've upped the excess particle effects at the cost of framerate drops and the game still looks the same. But atleast you can stand up on the back of a car while it's driving unlike the stupid GTA ragdoll engine
I hope you can turn some of those things off. It would be annoying to get continuously hacked by someone else while trying to play through the SP campaign
That's what I'm thinking. Though we should be able to just play it offline completely like Dark Souls or Demons Souls

No, they don't, and I'm the last one to criticize graphics, but I can't help but point it out because next gen should be more spectacular. Even Dead Rising 3 gives this run for its money. All of this will be however irrelevant if the game is fun.

You have to remember though. This was a Cross gen game announced two years ago.

Generating the world without interruption and all the random shit you are able to do with the hacking. Day/Night cycle. Weather cycle. Radio stations. All the other facets of creating a modern day open world action adventure game.
Technical graphics are all well and good, but there are MANY more important aspects that go into a game.

Yep, and that's most likely the reason why it looks the way it does. I'm not blaming Ubisoft, though. This kind of game is hard to pull out with so many parallel versions.

Dat downgrade. Photo from post E3 last year.
While I'm still interested in the game, I just cant bring myself to pre order it
Im so back and forth on this game. I pre ordered it when it was supposed to be a launch title but since have lost interest. This vid has me slightly interested again.
Graphically, the game is decent. Ubisoft is run by a bunch of idiots who decided to set the bar really high. Now that we see what the end result is, everyone is saying the game looks shit, because we all expected it to look like e3 2012. Ubisoft set the bar for itself way too high for the sake of hype. Don't think it was worth it as the opinion surrounding watch dogs is generally one of distrust and disappointment now.

Yeah. I mean it's what 6 versions coming out?
Wii-U, PS3, PS4, 360, Xbox 1, PC
That's nuts.
Graphically, it's not particularly impressive. It barely looks better than Sleeping Dogs. Did anyone else notice how utterly shitty the guns sound though!? I watched the Gamersyde vid of it, which is non-compressed and everything. Originally I thought it was just because he had a silencer on his pistol, but it didn't look like it and the rifle the guy was using sounded just as weak even though it quite clearly did not have a silencer. Very odd. Gameplay-wise, it looks fun. Hopefully the single player will be compelling though.
I really didn't want to be interested in this game....then this video comes along lol. The multiplayer looks fun.
I'm ok with the way the graphics look in that video. I like the gameplay in that as well.
But I'm actually more excited for The Division but I'm still getting Watch Dogs. Either on PC or WiiU though. That helicopter chase part seemed to fit perfectly with the gamepad.
