Was this advert actually about the pc?

Today, something strange happened. I turned on the tv to watch another emotionally charged episode of Emmerdale and a xbone advert was on. "why the **** is audio from Rocky 6 playing?" I thought to myself.

The video touts"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

As if this is applicable to the Xbox....

My friends, given how Microsoft deliberately attempted to kill pc gaming, along with practically all major gaming media wholly ignoring and declaring the platform "dead" time after time.

Can we agree this quote is actually, applicable to the pc, not the xbox? And that Microsoft, are the ones who have been doing the hitting while PC is a survivor with a heart on fire? And that it ain't over until it's over?

Apparently, they love hats, and not buzz cuts. I counted several hats in that trailer. In fact, there was not a single character in the trailer without a hat aside from the Sunset Overdrive douche.

In Rocky 4 the montage contrasts Ivan Drago against Rocky Balboa. While Ivan Drago is a souless husk, a machine, a product using industrial means to elevate him as an athlete, Rocky trains in natures raw surroundings, we see the will of the individual, the heart. Ultimately this is the story of console gaming and pc gaming.

About your question TC, MS has to sell their consoles, which are expensive to produce. In contrast to "PC", where MS needs to sell their OS only.

I always wondered why MS never released the Halo games beyond 1 and 2 on PC (or made them available on Steam). I realise it is probably one of the only identifiable xbox-exclusive franchises and making it multiplatform probably wouldn't help them.

They were most likely referring to their fans and how they get made fun of everywhere they go. Basically, stay strong and keep buying our shit even if it's not as good as Sony's shit.
