After what SP was able to do, a small studio not even known for producing high quality visuals, its pretty obvious that whenever we see was ND is cooking up its going to be pretty amazing.

I'm sure ND's next game will be one of the best looking titles we've ever seen. I just hope it's fun to play, they seem to be hit or miss when it comes to that.

@ConanTheStoner: what do you mean Naughty Dog hit or miss at making fun games? TLOU dramatically toned downed the set pieces complaints from UC3 and avoided mostly any COD related run & gun type of gameplay. And now you call it less fun?

What game was miss? Drake is the new Indiana Jones and The Last of Us story line is close to if not on par with The Walking Dead.

The only real miss I've seen from ND was uncharted 3 really, probably because it wasn't handled by their A team.

So a blogger is telling us that the PS4 graphics for Uncharted will be similar to cutscenes pre-rendered stuff on The Last of Us? Mm'kay.

Well it should. The actually game it self looks just as good with only minor noticeable differences.

Naughty Dog's games are bizarre. The Uncharted games are one of the most generic and cliched games, but at the same time they feel fresh. There is something about them that's done right.

Haha, saying close or on par to The Walking Dead isn't really a good thing. I watch the show, I read the comics, (haven't played the games yet), but while I find TWD enjoyable, the story isn't exactly something to put on a pedestal lol. It's more of a guilty pleasure for me, the story can be pretty terrible at times.

Anyways, I'm not even talking about story here, just gameplay. ND makes some solid games, I'll give them that. Sometimes they're compelling and fun... sometimes not so much. UC and UC3 were duds. UC2 and TLOU were hits. I actually preferred their output previous to last gen.

I'm not saying any of them were bad games though. But sometimes they do wrap up a pretty average experience in a brilliant coat of paint. I just hope their next game doesn't turn out that way.

Thats usually what happens with generation leaps in most cases.

Graphics King??? Keep chasing the 2011 all your life consololites, the 990pStation and 720pBox just can't surpass that and last time I checked Ryse was considered the better looking game than Crapzone by the industry.

Dude, there will always be someone to hate. I call it the CODisease. People will bitch and moan that COD is too much of the same thing, then another studio will come in and say they are trying to freshen up an old franchise (i.e. Diablo 3 with a more colorful palette, or Dawn of War 2 with the emphasis on smaller armies and strategic battles) and people will bitch and moan that they are doing too much to change the game and killing it. So people hate when developers change things up to keep fresh, and people hate when developers keep it the same old. People complained that ND was just a "set-piece" studio and then TLOU came out and people complained about that too. At this point, I think developers should just look at the numbers. If your game is getting reviewed well, and people are buying it, then you are doing something right (that includes COD). You can't please everyone.

I don't remember I ever begged for any consolole game but like I said many times that it's usually the consolole devs who beg for the money of Master Race at the Kickstarter after they go bankrupt from being consolole exclusive.

Very soon your favorite ND will be begging for our money since Sony is going bankrupt at the same kickstarter campaign. Now knowing that ND only produces linear onrails QTE fest experiences, I'm not sure me or many PC Gamers will support them. :D

Oh and PC has more AAA, AA and A games than all consololes combine.

What's wrong with it? I was playing UC3 in parallel with UC2 and alternate between one and the other. I couldn't really see that much difference in gameplay mechanics when playing the two. UC3 looked more of the same which was fine with me.

Now onto that rant about people hating both change and stagnation. None of my previous posts had anything to do with that, but since you bring it up, here is my opinion.

I do dislike when developers keep releasing the same old game with slight updates over and over again. (NSMB games for example). I also dislike when a developer makes their sequels completely unrecognizeable from previous games in their series. (The new FF games for example). I love it when developers can significantly evolve their sequels while maintaining the core aspects of what made them great to begin with. (For example, MGS series, 3D Mario platformers, pre - XIII FF games, etc..)

You're trying to take something that varies based on developer and series and throw it all under one roof. It doesn't work. I understand that gamers can seem impossible to please and on the internet every gamer likes to bitch. Even so, stagnation or mutation of a series can really suck sometimes and it's understandable why some people get pissed.

lol why the hell would I not be able to play them? It's not as if the PS3 was my favorite console of last gen, right? Not like I'm sitting here playing Ground Zeroes on my PS4 right now, huh? I guess if I'm not constantly performing felatio on Sonys 1st party devs it must mean I never owned a Sony console... even though they've made my favorite console for 4 gens straight now. Hmm.

Uncharted 1 was solid, yet bland. Just a very repetitive game with run of the mill shooting mechanics and shoddy platforming. Short and boring. Graphics are all it really had going for it.

Uncharted 2 was awesome. Easily one of the biggest improvements I've seen in a sequel. Great game.

Uncharted 3, while not nearly as poor as the first, was sill a big step back.

TLOU was awesome. First entry to a new IP and they came strong right out the gate.

HIT.OR.MISS. It's really not a tough concept to grasp guys.
