Oooh, and "Second Sight," too! It wasn't as good as "Psi-Ops," but it was still enjoyable and had a lot of promise.
About fucking time. Crytek ruined any chances of the series seeing daylight ever again.
I will buy anything Timesplitters, all day, any day.

Ah thankyou I forgot
THQ Nordic buying games is great! There remasters and added expansions to old games is great. They are doing great fan service!
What is so great about timesplitters?
its console shooter that has forgotten.
1.It doesn't take itself too seriously.
2.It had 4 player coop mode which was great.
3.It had a mapmaker.(For a PS2/Xbox/GC generation that was something rare)
4.Single player is also pretty great.Every level felt different.(You are in wild west in one level in the other in 1930 chicago etc) and by different I mean that you have different weapons in every mission.
5.It also had great bossfight battles.
6.And finally the games were a successor to the style of Goldeneye shooters.

Interest lost.

It's pointless trying to discuss anything with this guy. He like 12 games and anything else is either childish or not hardcore enough for him. He is THE most hardcore gamer on SW!

At least it's much less boring than Doom 4.(Which was just about run and gunning than having any kind of tactics involved.)
Cool, it is a series I enjoyed at the time but the market is far more crowded today and a big draw for this game was the fast paced multiplayer, which they will need to have good online support to compete with today. Interesting news, but I don't have many expectations at this point other than to wait and see.

thats what make FPS games fun. Fast paced shooting horde of enemies/demons.

It was the evolution of Perfect Dark multiplayer with modern controls. It shamed even Halo for local multiplayer FPS's at the time. It also had a great singleplayer with enough pop culture references to fill a small city. And some really crass and vulgar hunour at points.
No one want a harry tipper spin off?
I thought that was the Austin Powers series? :P

So true...lmao. I like to mess with him since Wolfenstein was 1 point higher over Doom on Metacritic.
:) I heard great things about this series. I didn't get a chance to play it back in the day. Marvelous, THQ Nordic! Marvelous!

Nintendo, Rare, Microsoft, and I guess Activision now should figure out their licensing debacle and give us GoldenEye: Remastered.
Now I know there was already a reboot game but for a game as classic as GoldenEye that does not count.
Did you know the game was nearing completion to release on 360 and Nintendo shut it down?

Yeah and it's horrible. It would have been great. :(
I once thought Crytek would keep the IP alive after buying Free Radical, but they've done literal f all. Sure, rumors of a planned PC exclusive (nevermind being a console shooter first and foremost, rooted from not one, but two console shooters some argue "were never good to begin with because consoles") online shooter, but besides that, not even an HD trilogy. Besides, it's only fitting as they also have a wacky gangster series (at least since the second game).
Hopefully, this means said HD Trilogy for all systems (PS4/Switch/XBONE/PC), or at the very least, BC for XBONE owners with 2 and Future Perfect.

I sure as hell bless them for bringing back Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy.
Let's see what they'll do with it. I can see them just releasing a remaster of the past games
I'd be fine with that as long as they make them playable online again.

My fantasy dream is that Nintendo and Microsoft would work out a deal where Microsoft would allow Nintendo to include all of RARE's N64 games on the N64 Classic Edition that they will inevitably eventually release and in return Nintendo would allow Microsoft and RARE to finally release the Goldeneye 007 remaster that they were working on for the 360.
Everybody would win from this deal. Nintendo wins, Microsoft wins, and most importantly, us gamers win. If I had a remastered Goldeneye 007 that I could play online, I would not need any other FPS game ever again.

As much as I would like to see it, I think many on the net would rather see Nintendo work with Bethesda for Doom 64 over MS/Rare with... anything.
@nintendoboy16: Doom 64 over Goldeneye 007... I don't think so. When people talk about the best FPS on the N64, most people are going to say Goldeneye. Not many are going to say Doom 64.
Hell, going beyond just the FPS genre, when people talk about the best N64 games in general, Goldeneye would be in most people's top 5 and even some people's #1. I don't think I've ever seen anybody list Doom 64 in their top 5 N64 games.

Made my day man. Some of the best news I have heard in forever. Timesplitters Future Perfect remains one of my favorite games of all time. Wasn't a fan of 2 at all.. that aiming though. I really hope something comes from this. Outside of SOCOM this is my most wanted shooter franchise I'd like to see make a solid return.

Both are great imo.
I'm sure you'll love Timesplitters if you like Doom.
