I only played one Tony Hawk game, Project 8, but I remember it being a lot of fun. I think I'll just cross my fingers that ends up on the XBO-360 BC list.
THPS 2 and the Underground games were the most fun.
But if you want something comparable there was SSX last gen and SKATE was pretty good I heard. But this gen I can't really think of a sports game like that where you have to perform tricks.
I was massively disappointed with last gen's SSX. SSX 3, IMO the best of the series, was the last good SSX game.

i went ahead and traded in the elder scrolls mmo game ( garbage game btw) and got thps5 for likw 35 bucks, its a decent tony hawk game, but they could have added alot more to it, its the same formula i love but its lacking in trick transitions, you had more tricks in underground. Id give this game a 6-7. Its fun to plop in if your craving some hawk, but doesnt bring much of anything new to the table. Btw I cant stand the skate franchise, those games are sooooo borring, glad tony hawk is back.
@jeezers: Good call on getting rid of Elder Scrolls Online lol. They certainly could have added more to THPS5 but what's there is still fun. I can't stand Skate either, way to slow and boring. THPS still has some life left in it if it's given to more competent developing team. There is still fun to be had with the game though. A 7 sounds about right.
I can read reviews. If I ever want to have a good laugh at it, I'll pick it up for $5 in a couple of months. In the meantime I'll just have a good laugh at the people that bought it day one for $60.
I wish they'd make college hoops games again. I enjoyed those more than the NBA games.
There is a tiny bit of NCAA basketball in the career mode......you get to pick between colleges and play in college games. Probably the closest we will get nowadays though :(

That's the only disappointing part of the Ed O'Bannon lawsuit. Good on them for re-taking control over their likeness, but bad for us because no more proper college hoops games

Yup I understand it and appreciate the fight and that he won the fight....hurts us gamers though :P I liked the college football games more than Madden but no more.
