The Dissidia demo is RELEASED! (My Impressions)

... the beat-down ****gameplay. Bashing the snot out of all kinds of Final Fantasy characters across the whole series is just awesome.

... the visuals! This is a great looking PSP game that has no slow down (from what I've seen).

... fast, relentless pace. Smashing people though columns/running up walls ftw.

... the soundtrack! The soft FF theme sounds as good as ever, but the new Dissidia-specific music is also great. Fits perfectly!

... the smooth, simplistic menus. I love a good presentation in a game and Square continues to make a beautiful coating around their game.

... great controls!

... the release date. August 25th isn't too far away!

... where's ma' Tifa? Ma' Vivi! :(

... camera can get pretty jankey sometimes. Beware tight corners.

... feeling out some of the moves is tricky (at first).

... the fact I don't have the full game.

This game is totally badass. smashing craters in the ground and throwing down with tons of memorable characters while listening to remixes of Uematsu's ****c tunes. It's a great idea and and apparently a damn good game. It's really fun and fast. Everyone go check it out!

Good: Its really fun
Bad: Its one of the only games I think would be significantly better on a consoles honestly.

Still, can't wait to play the whole thing.

PC,360, PS3, Wii, it really wouldn't have mattered. Preferably PS3/360 but yeah. Its a game I think would benefit from a console over PSP.

I have never been to big on FF games, but this demo alone is making me want to play them just so I can learn to love the characters. I preordered it a week ago and now it is cementing my ideal that it was a PERFECT buy. But I thought there was going to be online battles. :( That is sad, and needless to say I'll be gobbling up any DLC they decide to add. (if they do)

i played the japanese version a few month ago, it was pretty cool, i just wish i could understand what they were saying

I will try the demo when I go back home next week (I am on a trip), but from what I played at E3, it is really fun, through the camera does have some not so good moments. I am going to get the game on amazon.:)

We can always hope for a sequel, just imagine it with more characters and sick graphics, hell, even a tag or team mode, it would be cool to have Cloud/Aerith vs Squall/Rinoa. Yep it sounds like pure fan service, and it would be awesome.
