I was going to record the Event this year on Direct TV (bought the Wizard whatever thing DVR) and all there is was COPS.

COPs all day and at night It's Some Slightly good Movies that came out a decade ago! oh man could Spike TV be the next G4?

The Tomb Raider announcement is the 'Definitive (or HD) version' for PS4 and XBone.

First of many 'definitive' versions I feel.

I hope its a sequel. I loved the reboot.

@danabo: That's nice to see the Nintendo announce will be within the 1st hour.

It's a good thing if there is effort put into it. I bought a lot of HD releases as well, but there were some with no effort put into them.

I think they should re-release games like GRID 2, Hitman and Tomb Raider because the PC version of them was so much better than PS3/360 versions and I think more people should play those games (at better settings and higher res)

That will be an announcement for a later day.

Eventhough SE said the sales of TR disappointed, they said they are working on a new one. And yeah, I really loved the reboot as well, I just think the sequel should include some more tomb raiding :p

If it's anything like the past "VGAs", then I'll pass... that was cringe-worthy. It's not the freakin' Emmys!! Stop trying to be like it!!!

As I understand, that's exactly what the VGX is trying.

Yeah I liked it too. Some people criticized it for Lara becoming a killing machine. But you still need to have a GAME, in that case the story can take a back seat and I don't mind.

Are they giving awards before the show begin?

Yea, plus the actual gameplay was great. I hope the next one is more of an open world.

It was decent, if only it let you stay in control of it for longer in some sections. I hated how the game forced me into walking and crouching all the time.

The sequel also needs a good story and not a thrown together mess of cliches and stereotypes. And for the love of God less set pieces. You won people over already now make a more risky sequel with a bigger world (like you said) and actual decent exploration that has substance

I thought the cover system was great. It felt more natural than most other games that just glue you to a flat surface.

And terrible OP. What's VGX? When? Who's hosting it? What do we know? What do we want to know? What are we expecting? History of VGX? Just something...besides a picture?
