Meh, ultimately, the PS ****controller is better for Tekken. Not that I think it would be bad to have on the 360, but I'd guess best on the PS3.

why is it better on the PS controller...the D-PAD? I use the left analog stick to play fighting games on 360 I can work it almost like an arcade stick so I think the 360 controller would be just fine for tekken...

Every game that was announce from Namco was establish either it was a multi-plat or exclusive. Now, they establish it was a exclusive. Now, you believe them when they say Ace Combat is exclusive, so why not believe them when they say Tekken 6 is?
i'd be happy since i love fighting games but i don't see it happening since namco seem to be gear more towards ps3 than 360. although they are starting to give some support on the 360 it still seem somewhat impossible to see.
i still consider tekken to be a sony brand game since all of them always appear on sony.. if they where that interested in bringing tekken they would had atleast release tekken 1 or something for XBL.
i would buy it if part 6 got release though, i'm thirsty for fighting game. stupid capcom and street fighter 4.

I think it will stay a PS3 exclusive but I would benefit from it being on 360...tekken being one of only 3 or 4 games I would even want a PS3 for and its not worth it too me to buy the system to do so

Personally I dought it. Like I said all along, Soul Calibur series is the Namco fighter thats most likely to go multi-platform, not Tekken. And I was right so far. And also to, with Tekken DR Online just recently announced for PSN, dont you think if they had any plans for T6 with 360 they would of made Tekken DR Online for XBLA also? Just to test to see how well it would sell? While im not saying its "impsossible" for T6 on 360I just thinks its very unlikely.

As a business move Ace Combat, Soul Calibur were good moves to make money. Both franchise were decaying. Tekken, on the other hand, has always had a strong base of fans selling 2-3 million with each installment. Even the PSP version sold 1 million copies. Is it a smart investment to move to the 360? Considering they bringing Soul Calibur 4, DOA, and VF5 all on the Xbox360, I think they don't need to waste the resource to bring Tekken 6 to the 360. Of course this is an educated guess.
That would be an interesting change. I highly doubt it would happen since Tekken and Sony generally go hand-in-hand, but I for one would LOVE to see Tekken on 360. My father and I used to play it a lot in the arcades... good fun.
Namco is getting buddy buddy with the 360 as of late...but I doubt it....unless the release the first 3 on xbla....as soon as taht happens i'll believe it.
Even if it did, the series has always been synonymous with the Playstation brand; it'll be interesting to see how many would purchase the 360 version over the PS3. But I don't see a multi-plat happening.

why not? i bought DOA4, buying SOul calibur 4, buying VF5 if it has online(if it don't i'm not sure), if they bring tekken 6 i would buy it for 360. if they are about 500,000 buyers out of 10,000,000 people i think its the right decision to make. 500,000 * $60 game = 30millions.
that alone would cover the cost of the game for both ps3 and 360.

Its just I dont really like the style of the game, ok hate was probably too strong of a word lol but I just dont like the game as much as other fighters.

You never know... Moving it off of the PS3 and onto a console with roughly 3X the user base - and on which fighters have proven to sell - might be a good business.

I would say unless Namco is getting a generous cut on thier Arcade goods from Sony and probably some Money hats. It would have already been announced multiplat.
There was/is only 3 games I wanted from the PS3 to be on the 360. Ace Combat and Soul Calibur were two that made the jump over. God of War is a first party title so it could never happen. Not a huge fan of Tekken so wouldnt care if it came out for 360 or not.

ps3 controller sucks for everything IMO. i really wish they'd changed the design, hated it since PS1.
if you're going to get in to fighting games it's best to get a HORI game pad anyways - got mine for 360, kicks ass. just need to find the time to paint over the stupid DOA4 decal.
The way Namco has been lately with exclusives and multiplats, it wouldn't be at all too shocking to see Tekken 6 go to the 360. Which would suck with the P2P crap that XBL has. Dedicated servers is a must for Tekken.
One exception...and only because at the time Sony did not possess a handheld system.
Look, from the very beginning, every Tekken arcade machine has been on PlayStation-based hardware: from the System 11 of the original Tekken to the System 256 of Tekken 5. As I understand it, there's a long understanding between Namco and Sony concerning the property. I just don't see this relationship going south just yet.
PS. Did someone say Tekken 6 would be online? Could someone post the proof? And BTW, VF5 will not be online on the 360 (AM2 said that, not me).
