SYSTEM WARS VOTES 2015
The Most Anticipated Game of 2015
System Wars- 2014 is finally behind us, and while opinions may vary on how good (or bad) the year really was, it was nonetheless one that managed to deliver some truly standout games.
But that's all in the past- now we are in 2015, and 2015 looks to be loaded to the brim with amazing games, probably more so than any year in recent history. No matter what platform you own, it looks like 2015 will deliver some standout, truly excellent and compelling content to you. It's a year that looks to be a veritable slam dunk of awesome games.
But which of these is System Wars looking forward to the most?
It's time decide that!
And how will we do that? Well, we'll be using the old System Wars Votes format for this. Here's how it will go:
- Nominate three games for Most Anticipated Game of 2015. Make sure your nominations are in order. The first game you nominate gets 50 points. The second game gets 25 points. The third game gets 15 points. The order is very important.
Also remember, if you list more than three games, only the first three will be considered (everything else won't count). If you list less than three games, your post won't be considered. That said, you are free to list more than three games as honorable mentions, or just to discuss their merits, as long as you understand only the first three count. - Any game announced for release this year in at least one territory counts. As long as a game has been announced with an explicit 2015 release date, you can go ahead and nominate it.
What does this mean? This means that games that don't have any release dates attached to them don't qualify- don't vote for them. So, games like The Last Guardian, Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, Crackdown, what have you- don't nominate these ones. They don't have an official 2015 release date. - Don't nominate games that have not been announced officially. This may seem obvious, but in an industry with so many annual games, it's a point worth making. You might really be looking forward to the new Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, or Pokemon game, but none of them have been officially announced yet- so don't nominate them, or you're just making stuff up.
- If you edit your post, please make a list of all edits at the bottom. This will make my life much easier when tallying.
- You can only nominate a single game once. I can't believe I have to say this, but there you go.
- Please don't nominate DLC. Yes, I know the Mario Kart DLC pack looks awesome, and you're probably looking forward to it, but it is not a game- don't treat it as one.
- You have until 11.59pm Central Time on January 15, 2015 to get your votes in. That's a lot of time, so make sure you get your voice heard!
- At the end of this period, I'll tally the points, and we'll see what our Game of the Year is.
Got it? Awesome, let's vote.
